Speedy greens Course in pretty good shape. Lots of deuces between fours slowed play. April 15, 2014
Always something We played this course last year as well when we were on vacation. Last year we encountered a rain, thunder and lightning storm just as arrived. Play was suspended. Despite the fact that we were on the front nine at the time they gave us a voucher to come back start a new round, which we did the next day. This time, I once again made the purchase on the Golf Now website, which I highly recommend given the cost savings. I failed to notice that I made the reservation for Tuesday, but showed up on Wednesday. Explaining my problem and stupidity was no problem. They were very understanding and squeezed us in with only a 20 minute wait. Even gave us a bucket of range balls to kill the time. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to make every accommodation. We enjoyed playing the course. We found it open, forgiving and fair in all respects. It was a beautiful day and we even had a bald eagle fly down the fairway only 50 feet off the ground. Pretty spectacular.. We will be back. It is on our list of courses we intend to play every year when we vacation for the month. April 11, 2014
Very good for $25 I booked a discount rate of $25 per person and was satisfied for the money. The greens were dried out could not stop the ball on a downhill putt. The fairways for the most part were dry and hard. Taking a divot would rattle your teeth. I would not want to have paid full price to play this course. April 10, 2014
Nice course Nice course, good value. Free sandwich and beer at turn nice touch April 9, 2014
First time at Palmetto-Pine Great course challenging for a duffer like me! Starter gave good instructions and asked if we had any concerns. We were never rushed or held up. April 5, 2014
Good fairways with hard fast greens Fairways were in good condition the greens were hard and fast. Some water and trees but an easy course if you stay in the fairways April 2, 2014
Average at best My wife and I have played PPGC twice in the past two weeks. The clubhouse and staff are nice and this was probably a very nice CC in it's day. There is a decent driving range and putting green. The course condition is average. There's some challenging holes and overall a nice layout. The greens are hard and fast, a little spotty in places. The fairway grass is tight with some bare spots here and there. The rough is very ROUGH, bare hardpan in spots. Pace of play was just over 4 hours each time. Don't pay more than $45, $30 would be the better rate. March 29, 2014
Good value This is a semi-private country club in Cape Coral. If you are interested in joining a club with reasonable fees, you may want to check this out. March 29, 2014
