The Rolling Oaks Course provides the second world-class layout at World Woods. An entirely different, yet no less enjoyable experience than playing Pine Barrens, this course's name also gives clue to its design. Despite being built directly adjacent to the Pine Barrens Course, differences in soil content allow the land to support giant Oak trees draped with Spanish moss that regularly accent the holes. Sharply defined bunkers filled with bleached white sand contrast beautifully with the rich green fairways. These attributes coupled with the many Azalea bushes present in the landscaping are reminiscent of the famed Augusta National. The beautiful rolling fairways that lead to undulating greens add drama to this more traditional course design. Many changes in hole style and length create a great blend of holes that requires a variety of shots and a strategic approach to score well.

World Woods Golf Club - Rolling Oaks Course 4.6 5 167 167
worth the drive Both courses are in great condition. They have been pounded with rain and are both still really nice. I highly recommend World Woods. Rolling Oaks is my favorite of the two. September 12, 2014
always worth the drive Fairways and greens in excellent condition. This is a top notch facility which is always worth the trip from Clearwater. This course challenges you from tee to green. You need to pay close attention to pin placements because the undulations can produce a three putt quite easily. September 9, 2014
Total golfing experience As always when playing golf at World Woods one will find it an excellent golfing experience. I chose to play Rolling Oaks on this day even though the course was undergoing "course maintenance".. I only wish other golf courses knew how to conduct "course maintenance" as well as the World Woods staff. It was a pleasure to play a perfectly groomed golf course with absolutely no intrusions by the course maintenance crew. The greens had undergone aerification and top dressing and putted slower than normal but that was due more to the excessive amount of rain in the area an inabilities to mow all greens as short as they usually do; however, they rolled very true and one only had to adjust their putting stroke in order to enjoy the round. The food in the clubhouse is excellent and the wait staff do a very nice job. Overall, it was a great day to play golf on an outstanding golf course. The weather was very hot and humid but that is summer in Florida so just stay hydrated and enjoy. I look forward to returning to World Woods in the very near future. September 5, 2014
Incredibly Worth It You really cannot beat World Woods for best value in golf in the Tampa/Central Florida area. I try to play there as often as possible and don't mind the 50-mile drive from Tampa. The Rolling Oaks course is somewhat underrated but is every bit as beautiful and challenging as Pine Barrens. In fact the greens (when they are not punched) are in better condition. The course is playing slightly more difficult this summer due to the rough off the fairways being longer. I enjoy the challenge. If you are a medium-to-low handicapper you will definitely like the experience and want to come back. August 26, 2014
Great Course Rolling Oaks is a fantastic course that is pure golf. It was refreshing to play a course in Florida where it was just you and the golf course. The course conditions were excellent and marvelous. The clubhouse is average at best, but I did not go to World Woods to sit inside a clubhouse. This is a must play for all golfers. Rolling Oaks is the easier of the two courses that World Woods offers. August 21, 2014
Amazing course Course is in amazing condition. The greens are the best I have played on. August 14, 2014
Pure Golfing Experience This is a place that all golfers should play at least once, but I warn you, you will yearn to play it again. Had played the Pine Barrens about a year ago and had to try Rolling Oaks this time. Pine Barrens is in your face brilliant golf course design. Rolling Oaks is subtle brilliance. Hats off to Fazio. Regarding the staff at the facility, I had read reviews that said they were rude. I experienced a very friendly and helpful staff, all of them. Maybe even overly friendly, like the waitress at a restaurant that checks in with you a little too often. Overall I would have to say playing Rolling Oaks was probably the finest PURE GOLF experience I have ever had. August 10, 2014
