Target golf at it's finest. Challenging course that demands you hit the right spots. Need restraint to not hit driver on every hole. Greens watered nicely, roll perfect, fast but not too fast. Water driving ranges are wired. Had to say it. April 8, 2015
Course is interesting to play, challenging, but fair, with many wide fairways . I think this is my favorite course in the area. It is in great shape. Greens and fairways are lush and green. Although there is lots of water, the fairways are wide enough on most holes to allow plenty of room to play for the average golfer. Some of the wholes are very demanding, but if you play the forward tees it is very manageable for older and less experienced golfers. April 3, 2015
Special Course was in very good condition. Quite challenging and very pretty. April 3, 2015
Good challenge Very good condition overl and a good, challenging course. Beautiful location right on the Manatee river. April 3, 2015
Fast greens?? wayyyyy fast!!! WOW, is all i can say about the speed of the greens. Like putting on garage floor(speed). The greens are in wonderful condition BUT we couldnt keep the balls on the green, not kidding about that. Some pin placements were unfair. Heard there was a member/guest later in day, so that could be the reason for pin placements March 31, 2015
Beautiful course - nice layout - great challenge I've played 10-15 courses in this area of Florida and by far my favorite course. I am a scratch golfer and have had trouble finding courses that are challenging, with enough length, and in great condition. Waterlefe fit all of those and more, the greens were nearly flawless, GPS' were on the money and definitely needed with all the trouble on most holes. Definitely recommend playing here if you get the chance I will be back!! Only issue I had was with hole 9. Long par 3 with no where to land ball really requires a great shot, cool looking hole but only about 15 yards of green and out of bounds directly behind green from 230 yards. I ended up making par but beware. March 28, 2015
Challenging but fair Love this course. One of my favorites. I play it every time I m in the Sarasota area. You will not be disappointed. March 27, 2015
spring break 2015 1st round of the year. Played from the blue tees, around 6400 yards. Starter warned us it was really hard from those tees - I did not agree. It requires accuracy off the tee, and proper club selection was important...you could not just grab driver everyone and bomb away. Greens were in really good shape. All in all, a good course and a good experience. March 25, 2015
