Tough track in great shape Played Waterlefe in the afternoon, and it did not disappoint. The track is challenging with lots of water (not surprising given it's name), but also very scenic as it winds through the Manatee river area. Greens were in great shape as well. Very helpful and accommodating staff. October 13, 2014
its a golf course Sometimes I wonder if people know what a good course is. My group unanimously agreed we'd never be back. We can forgive the recent water damage to the fairways, but the greens were super slow and bumpy. The cups look like they haven't been changed in days. But its more than that. The layout is .....boring. Sorry. October 13, 2014
Fantastic Great course, scenic and fun! You will love this layout and see a lot of wildlife including a possible alligator. October 8, 2014
Must play in Bradenton Played here with 2 friends, and a third who joined our group. Really beautifully laid out course with some challenging shot making opportunities, but forgiving enough that one of our group had less than 1 year playing experience and was still able to work her way around the course. Also, despite about 2 weeks of daily rain, there were only a few soggy spots to be found, mostly on the front nine. Everything was in good shape for this time of year and the clubhouse staff where friendly and efficient. The only negatives I would have to give is that the GPS on my cart didn't work although the other carts had no issues, and a few of the greens had some damaged areas, although the recent weather had to have been a factor. Despite those little issues, I would not hesitate to play again. October 8, 2014
What a Neighborhood! These houses and the scenery is well worth the time! I played in the drizzle (with no flood issues), lost a lot of balls, and despised my score, but stayed the entire 18 holes! And the fellow players are so friendly, that I actually got one of my balls back--a pink Calloway, so yeah. As for the course conditions, the greens have recovered from aeration and each hole and fairway are cleverly designed. You'll definitely enjoy your round. September 20, 2014
Juggle Swalls Great day on the course. Worked up a bit of a schwet. To go sandwiches on the turn were dry and uneventful. Saw one gator. Cool. September 19, 2014
beautiful course Great course, to bad the 19th was closed ! driving range with lake balls, good for short warm up ! September 16, 2014
Great for Nature Enthusiasts Course was in great shape. This course was on my list of course to play. I got a great deal but unfortunately, they had punched the greens. My friend told me the greens are one of the highlights of the course, so I'll be going back to play again. The course is more about play percision golf (hitting the right spots) than playing long.
