Apollo Beach Golf Club’s 18 hole, 72 par course features large undulating greens and four sets of tees ranging from 5195 to 7033 yards. The challenge lies in the 87 bunkers and presence of water on every hole. Apollo Beach is one of the first courses in Florida to use Paspalum grass, a special strain that thrives in saltwater areas, taking advantage of the ocean’s sea breezes.

Apollo Beach Golf and Sea Club offers a well stocked pro shop, Golf Side Snack Bar, two PGA professionals available for private instruction, and membership benefits.

With a career spanning seven decades, Robert Trent Jones Sr. has been acclaimed as the most significant golf course architect in history. We are proud to be the only West Florida course designed by this legendary architect.

At Apollo Beach Golf Club, Mr. Trent Jones's artistic talents and design philosophy make the course a true pleasure to play for golfers of all abilities. He believed that a great course should offer a source of pleasure to the greatest number of players possible while at the same time testing their strategy, mind and skill. In all these criteria Apollo Beach delivers and brings the additional bonus of the natural beauty and wild life of Southern Florida to life on a course you will enjoy playing forever.

needs TLC Just an average course. Lots of water makes it more difficult from the back 2 sets of tees. Greens were pretty good. Overall condition was o.k. and I realize we had a lot of rain that made it hard to take care of the course October 15, 2014
fun track but needs attention I enjoyed the layout , but spent 3 or 4 straight holes without playing a shot off of grass. Would be worth 10 bucks but 25 is steep with such great courses inside a 25min drive. September 7, 2014
Goat Farm Worst conditioned GC in Tampa Bay area that I have played. Forced to play preferred lies as fairways are dirt. Normally I will use 2-3 Tees per round.....broke "18" Tees today the place was so baked out.....and this is the rainy season. Gave 5 stars for pace of play as nobody else on course....now I know why. If you see a coupon to play this place for FREE.....pass it up! Played here because of course designer....if he saw it today he would roll over in his grave........... Even the golf cart was filthy......friendly staff. September 4, 2014
Enjoybale course to play Course has some work to be done. It can be a very challenging course with lots of water and trees. Enjoyable place to play with a staff that is super friendly and accomadating. August 12, 2014
surprised Last time I played this course was in 1970. It was a dried out desert, fairways were terrible but it was cheap back then. Here I am 44 years later and I was hit with the wow factor. They made the greens bigger and better. Fairways looked great and very playable. They had had a lot of rain so the greens were a bit slow but not a problem. I tip my hat to the grounds superintendent. He and his crew have done a great job. August 7, 2014
Lot's of water! Lot's of water so bring couple of extra sleeves of balls. August 5, 2014
Greens are decent. Fairways need work. Greens are in decent shape, a little slow on the front then much faster on the back which caused some added strokes. Fairways need some work, a few large bare areas, weeds, mixed grass, etc. Near the greens in the fairway we were often chipping from St. Augustine/Carpet Grass/weeds, though it was mowed tight. Decent value for the money with GolfNow Discount but would not pay full price. No cart service on Sunday morning. Plenty of cold water available. August 4, 2014
apollo beach the coarse is in great condition. I golf there quite often but it is getting to be very slow play it took over 2 1/2 hours for 2 people to finish 9 holes. the people in front of us had no golf ethics what so ever at least one of the 4 took on average of 8 or more shoots per hole which is fine I remember when I was that bad but you have to allow faster players to play thru and with no range on the coarse it gets very aggravating which throws off your own game July 28, 2014
