Keep Ball Below the Hole! Most greens are severely slanted back to front. Best to be short than long on approach shots. Down hill putts can be a nightmare. November 3, 2014
calling all great putters I've played here a few times and enjoyed the course. Staff was great, great layout but if you're not up for extreme putting conditions play elsewhere. Fast undulating greens that can require 10 ft break and not uncommon to go 5 ft past hole. I 3 putt about 3-5 times a round here and I'm a 10 handicap player. I will go back! August 26, 2014
Great place to pkay Condition of the course gets better and better. Challenging but also receptive of good play. The course is extremely well managed. August 14, 2014
Diabolical greens It had been a long time since last playing this course so I couldn't remember the holes or strategies for playing them. Thanks to our great playing partners for helpful info about the holes and greens. One would need multiple rounds there to best manage the course and especially the severely sloping and undulating greens. A very enjoyable challenge and variety of holes (layout). August 7, 2014
Fades and Draws Fun course. Watch the tall grasses and canal winding throughout. July 13, 2014
Good family friendly course that is fun for everyone Course was in great shape. Very family friendly and a nice layout. Tough greens! There is also a 9 hole par 3 that was having a kids camp on it and it was great seeing all these young kids enjoying the game. They were so cute all walking around with there little bags and clubs. Tough Greens The course was in pretty good condition. The starter was having some issues, due to trying to fit someone in. My only real complaint is the folks in the grill have no sense of urgency when trying to grab a sandwich at the turn. The group behind us didn't stop and easily got ahead before we could get our hotdogs. This despite a sign saying those making the turn had priority. Nice lady waiting on us, but needed to pick it up. Fast greens but slow pace I have to say that overall, playing here was a good time. I got paired up with two locals who knew the course really well and helped me feel more confident on the course. The course was well laid out, the fairways were nice and the traps were in good shape. The greens were very fast, which made for a couple of 3 puts, but otherwise I would say that it was a good course. I was disappointed by the rental clubs, which I guess can be expected, but they could have at least cleaned them prior to renting them out. I have rented clubs before and never had this happen to me before I was also really disappointed by the pace of play, I left on the 16th hole because I was on pace to finish close to 6 hours, which for a Tuesday is not very typical. An employee did come out and ask us how things were going and I explained that the threesome in front of us were taking forever to hit the balls, which was really frustrating. I counted at one point us waiting 10 minutes for them to putt. He assured me he would have somebody come out and ask them to hurry up, which did not happen. I doubt this is normal, but it was unfortunate to have this experience. May 21, 2014
