Great Value We played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. That is how golf should be played and would attract more players if it was the norm versus the exception. July 17, 2015
Not for the faint of heart! I don't want to slam this course but merely to point out to the uninformed that Cross Creek is an EXTREMELY hard course. Lots of blind shots. The greens are mostly elevated and many with an embankment surrounding. No balls are going to roll onto these greens. Then tons of undulation with speed. Many of the fairways are surrounded by intense rough and/or steep slopes. Very easy to lose a decent shot in this rough. It's a beautiful area in the Temecula wine country and the temp was right at 90 on a day that was at 100 in most of the IE. June 26, 2015
Beautiful course, ugly pace of play! Too bad such a nice course takes at least 5 hours to play, what a shame!!! June 6, 2015
Back to nature Good golf course in a wonderful setting. Nice to play a course with no houses, streets or honking cars driving by. The surroundings are what makes this course, it is in good condition, not to difficult, there are not a lot of bunkers and hazards in the middle of the holes just the acres of mother nature bordering each hole. This is a place you need to play more than once to know how to play it. The greens have subtle slopes and are hard to read do to all the surrounding hills and valleys. I would definitely play again. Very Peaceful - No Freeway Noise The fairways are wide enough for well struck tee shots, but any balls left or right are lost, there aren't any adjacent fairways to play from. Driver is not always the smart play on some of the shorter par fours. The greens are in good shape, but have a lot of grain, so putts must be struck firmly to stay on line. Pace of play was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. May 27, 2015
Great layout in a quiet setting I showed up as a single playing the course for the first time. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The starter by the first tee personally introduced me to the people I would be playing with, and also gave me some tips on how to play some of the holes being it was my first time. The golf course was in great condition. It was a tough layout but extremely fair. My overall experience with both the staff and the course was excellent. April 30, 2015
A course to get away from it all. An enjoyable course that I would definitely play again if I was in the area. The staff member at check in was awesome! This was our first round of the year being that we are from Canada and we were happy with the choice for our first round. Many of the holes you feel your secluded. April 9, 2015
Love the forward placement of the womens tees! Beautiful course. Very secluded and peaceful. The forward placement of the women"s tees makes it fair and fun. But still provides enough challenges. April 7, 2015
