Rated 5 out of 5 by bring your a game or extra balls I had a great experience! Hitting balls off grass is important for me, they have real grass and after purchasing a bucket, I was able to hit as many as I wanted (for two hours). I was paired up with an easygoing guy and added another after a couple of holes. Both were familiar with the layout and helped me get around. We played at a fair pace with no pressures. I lost a lot of balls! While out of bounds really is out of bounds with thick brush and a lot of blind turns, I mostly lost balls because I suck. I have a a new set of clubs that I'm getting used to, but really, I suck! Personally, I'm not ready for the course. It is simply beautiful, August 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice track I made a last minute reservation thru Golfnow for a single. When I got there I was paired with another twosome. Given the California drought conditions, the course was in great condition. Greens were a little long and shaggy, but I can not blame them for not cutting them down with 90+ temperature. This course is a challenging course. If you don't hit it straight bring extra balls. You don't want to go looking for it in the bushes. Lots of snakes during summer months. Arthur Hill did a great job here. One of the better courses in Temecula area. August 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Course I was force to play as a single. I had booked as a single for a time that had a threesome booked and when they arrived they had a forth and move to a time later. I had to follow a threesome that were playing in a skins event with the groups in front of them. I did my best to wait and not pressure the group in front but that wasn't easy. I spent a lot of time waiting and they never offered for me to play up. That group fell well behind the groups in front of them on the back nine, they were obviously playing from tee boxes that were much too difficult for there skill levels. Other than this the course was in great condition and would have been very enjoyable. July 31, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Thiosw course is well worth the Money. Given the California drought water conditions this course is in great condition. The facilities are excellent. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this course to my friends and family!!! July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value From start to finish, I was greeted with awesome service. The course played very true, the greens held up many opportunities for birdies, which I got on #17 par 3...150yds wind in the middle...3/4 PW to 4ft for a 2. July 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value We played in 3 hours and 15 minutes. That is how golf should be played and would attract more players if it was the norm versus the exception. July 17, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not for the faint of heart! I don't want to slam this course but merely to point out to the uninformed that Cross Creek is an EXTREMELY hard course. Lots of blind shots. The greens are mostly elevated and many with an embankment surrounding. No balls are going to roll onto these greens. Then tons of undulation with speed. Many of the fairways are surrounded by intense rough and/or steep slopes. Very easy to lose a decent shot in this rough. It's a beautiful area in the Temecula wine country and the temp was right at 90 on a day that was at 100 in most of the IE. June 26, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful course, ugly pace of play! Too bad such a nice course takes at least 5 hours to play, what a shame!!! June 6, 2015
