V-Dog love this course, and will be playing it again soon. February 25, 2015
Tee boxes need work Nice greens, good layout. My only complaint is the tee boxes. Grass was pretty long and the boxes are crowned. The greens were fast but beat up. Apparently no one owned divot tools there the day I played. For 55$ I'd hope for a little better conditions. For sure I wouldn't pay the advertised weekend rate to play that course. Good customer service there for sure. February 24, 2015
Great Layout Needs a Little Care First time playing Talega and have to say it was a nice experience. Ill start with the good. The course is very challenging. We played it from the black tees. Every hole has at least 10 or more bunkers. Must put your ball in the fairway to score. Rough is thick and you have a good chance of losing your ball in it if you dont watch it carefully. The bads ... With all the bunkers, the sand quality was pretty bad but not horrible. Very hard and condensed sand definitely needing some work. The greens were also the problem as they were not cut, not sure if aeration is under way soon. Id call the course prior to making a tee time to see if they have mowed the greens and fixed the bunkers. Other than that the course is very pleasant! February 17, 2015
Pleasanly impressed Very interesting course that weaves between 2 seperate canyons. Lots of sand traps but they are in fair positions. Good shots are rewarded. Very scenic. My wife and I really enjoyed it. February 11, 2015
Great Value I found the greens to be in excellent condition, well-maintained. Fairways very good. Only a couple had some burn, but not bad. Only issue? The driving range needs refreshing. February 6, 2015
Love Talega! This is one of my favorite courses! This course never fails to challenge me. Beautiful setting, and always in good condition. Love this course! February 2, 2015
Talega Golf Club with my wife and our good friend! Great day of golf and the course was in nice shape for winter conditions. January 28, 2015
Enjoyable round My son and I played a twosome on a holiday Monday at Talega. We were able to book an early afternoon round online the evening before. Staff was very friendly. The rate was great. The cart and pro shop were in great condition. The UpLink system worked well and was useful. Course in good condition despite their transitioning from rye to Bermuda. Only challenge was some slow downs with almost back to back to back par 3s on front side. Enjoyed. Will return. January 21, 2015
