Set amidst ancient towering oaks, huge granite boulders and sparkling lakes, Mt. Woodson Golf Club features breathtaking mountain and valley views. The Classic Schmidt-Curley design offers challenging play in one of the region’s most dramatic golf course settings.

Steep changes in elevation add to the special character of each hole and are captured with names such as “Drop Off,” “The Chute,” “Razor’s Edge” and “The Plunge.” A winding 450-foot wooden bridge through the treetops also adds to the excitement of every round. Each of these unique features allows for an enjoyable and memorable golf experience.

Woodson never fails Great, great course and value, recommend late afternoon rounds. Great weather and views that time of day. Greens were great. Course playing fast. July 21, 2014
Scenic views, challenging course The course is in good condition, greens are fast. The course is narrow so choose your clubs wise. Carts are fairly new without GPS. When you play early there is no service cart what wasn't a problem for us. There is some driving to get to the wholes, but it's definitely worth come here and play. It's a shorter course, but offers lots of challenge. The scenery is impressive and the pro shop staff is very friendly. July 19, 2014
Great course This is a very challenging layout ... the price was terrific and the weather was great. What more do you want? June 30, 2014
My Favorte Wow, what a fun course. Easy to lose balls but we took plenty not to care about. A really great and scenic course. Great condition and friendly person to check in. Also new golf cart. An older couple June 14, 2014
need yardage markers. I use to love this place back when they had gps on there carts..they now have new carts but no gps..they need to get out there and put yardage markers. . June 10, 2014
Great Layout I have played here about a dozen times. The fairways have a lot of brown patches in them. I am sure this is due to the drought. The greens were green, but very slow and bumpy. It looked as though they were not cut or the holes moved since Saturday. Overall, this is a great course with lots of elevation changes. Not your usual course set in a "Valley". If you are not fairly straight, you will need some extra balls. June 2, 2014
Poor condition Having played this course a number of times I was somewhat surprised at the overall condition of the course. Not sure if they're dealing with water restrictions or what but the course is DRY DRY Dry. It is still playing alright but don't know for how long if they don't start putting some water on it. Toughest 5500 yards around Don't play the tips unless you are really good. Too many guys trying to play the blue tees making for slow play for all. Love the course but it is hard. June 1, 2014
