Set amidst ancient towering oaks, huge granite boulders and sparkling lakes, Mt. Woodson Golf Club features breathtaking mountain and valley views. The Classic Schmidt-Curley design offers challenging play in one of the region’s most dramatic golf course settings.

Steep changes in elevation add to the special character of each hole and are captured with names such as “Drop Off,” “The Chute,” “Razor’s Edge” and “The Plunge.” A winding 450-foot wooden bridge through the treetops also adds to the excitement of every round. Each of these unique features allows for an enjoyable and memorable golf experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by A land far away What a beautiful magical place! We loved the beauty and enchantment of this course. Hard and narrow yet rewarding and well rounded for all types of players. We're coming back...very soon! September 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun at Mt Woodson For a short course - extremely challenging. A number of holes intrigue you with risk reward. You can play it safe and score well OR go for a low score and take some real risks the hazards. The greens were surprisingly good given the heat we have seen in San Diego county inland. The hills make this a real fun, unique course. The only negative: the bunkers need some sand. September 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great course One of the nicest most challenging courses I've played. Bring a lot of balls, but you'll have a blast. Bathrooms are a bit of a mess though. Also, hard to find some holes and scorecard needs to be updated with proper distances. It can get a little confusing. Still a great course with lots of beautiful scenery and very well maintained course. August 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Must Play Mt. Woodson is one of the best courses I have ever played. A local golfer told us that if you are going to play one course in this area, it should be Mr. Woodson. We are very glad we listened to him, the course is beautiful and extremely fun to play. You will not be dissappointed. July 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by this course layout is good This is very good course. Even though the total distance is rather short, every hole is different. It is challanging course. July 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value Course in good condition. Some blind tee shots but overall very playable if you are a straight hitter. Very picturesque setting and layout. Looking forward to playing it again. July 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by WOW! Really nice. Very enjoyable. Not your typical executive golf course. If you can hone your game to play this course well, just add your driving expertise and you are ready for any championship course. Has all the variables you need to experience in the game from the second shot in. July 16, 2015
