great shape but... Greens/fairways all good. Some challenging holes from tips but mostly wide open. Nice pace on front but lack of marsall meant play slowed to a crawl on the back...in 100F temps. Better to play early.... August 23, 2014
Nice resort course It was a nice, hot August afternoon, a perfect day to play a rapid round of golf in the Palm Springs area. The Desert Springs Palm course is nice, with fairly open fairways, some forced carries and water hazards, and elevation changes to almost every green. Greens roll true, and fairways are mostly in good shape. The hot weather afternoon price cannot be beat. Recommend it. August 19, 2014
Nice Place to Play, Palms Course Staff was excellent, found the course in great condition for August. Make sure you look at the GPS, and go to the top of some blind shots before hitting, as water does come into play on several holes where you would not expect it! Would play this course again...nice value too..... August 19, 2014
Fun Great course, greens fast, plenty of clean restrooms and fresh water, love how they keep the water with ice, cups very refreshing. August 19, 2014

Super Value for a Course in Great Shape I teed off after noon with a Hot Deal tee time. I wasn't expecting too much for the price I paid, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Course conditions were very good, with the greens rolling smooth at medium speed, which is amazing for summer in the desert. The layout is typical for a resort course, with large landing areas and little trouble from the tees. Watch out for the greens, though. Lots of false fronts to reject short shots, and a few peninsulas on the backs of greens for sucker pins. Unless you're a sharpshooter, I'd say middle of the green and let your putter do the talking. Friendly staff at a nice resort. I would play again in a heartbeat. August 15, 2014
Great course The course was in great shape. The fairways were green and lush. The greens were big and in very good condition. We would absolutely play this course again. August 12, 2014
Excellent course but EXTREMELY slow play!! Took about four hours to play 16 holes and decided the skip the last two ... very disappointed in the pace of play. August 12, 2014
