9 holes We played late in the day and finished before dark. The 9 hole rate was much cheaper than the 18 hole rate. Great deal!!!! The course was not in great shape as they were getting ready for over seeding. October 18, 2014
Alway good Always a good challenging course with mounding and moderate hazards. I just wish the pace of play was better....no reason to play at 4:45 on this course, should not have to ball search much. And wish staff addressed pace of play instead of a token sympathize. October 18, 2014
Slow Play Took over 3 hours to play the front 9, played the front 9 again because the back 9 would have been even slower. Needed a Marshall to help control pace of play. Note: played here in April and it was great. October 18, 2014
Will never play aggain Took 2 hours and 50 minutes to play first nine. No course rangers. After first nine starter asked if we wanted to play first nine again which we did in 1 1/2 hours. Talked to other golfers and course staff and they said that this is normal at this course and no attempt is made to make play faster. October 17, 2014
overplayed pace on course was terrible, typical management company trying to maximize revenue and doesn't care about the customers, 4 balls every 8 minutes 6 + hours to play, NO MARSHALL , plus ddint know until we arrived range was closed, not very good at all, starter did his best, BUT OVERALL WORST EXPERIENCE IN DESERT SO FAR October 17, 2014
My worst round in years I haven't walked off of a golf course since I can remember (15 years). I quit after 5 holes and sacrificed my golf now green fee ($60) after 2 hours of standing around. My tee time was at 10:45 and I drove off the course at 12:40 with a backup of 2+ groups on #6. Desert October golf at its absolute worst. October 16, 2014
This course is beautiful, lots to see Really enjoyed this course, have been several times and the views, water features, bird life etc makes this course a must try October 14, 2014
Too slow for high temps I have been forced to quit the course twice after only 9 holes as the pace of play was astoundingly slow for a 2-ball - and the temperature was close to 100 degrees. Marriott have a good facility and an enjoyable course, but they should not send groups off less than 7 minutes apart and they should not have singles and 2-balls in the middle of a slow field.
