From its unique design, to its natural beauty, Hidden Valley Golf Club has all the elements necessary to ensure a memorable golf experience. Remarkable changes in elevation, majestic views, and a challenging golf course layout designed by architect Casey O`Callaghan will impress golfers at any skill level. Hidden Valley Golf Club`s convenient central location is just one of the many reasons the course is becoming a true favorite among avid golfers throughout Southern California.

The Hidden Valley Golf Club is a unique golf layout for Southern California. The overall design of the course concentrates on preserving the natural vegetation, dry streams, and boulder outcroppings throughout the property. There are five sets of tees on each hole which allow this golf course to cater to golfers of varying skill levels. The back tees challenge the expert golfer to carry the ball over natural canyons and ravines to spacious and well-manicured fairways. The middle tees may require some carry over natural areas while reducing the length for the average golfers. The forward tees are situated so that there is little or no natural areas that must be hit over. The golf course ranges from 6,721 and 6,330 yards from the back two tees to 4,649 yards from the forward tees. The contrast of a well-manicured golf course against the rugged terrain provide a spectacular setting for golf.

Hidden Valley Golf Club 4.1 5 45 45
The course is unique and very challenging. I believe this course will test your ability. Whether you are a single digit or double digit handicap...your choice of tee box will give you the challenge you are looking for. The par 5's are different from each other and the par 3's will amaze you! April 6, 2013
Fun course with chanelging aspects Lot's of elevation changes. Fun course to play. Afternoon wind can be tough April 6, 2013
Greens were money! I have played this course about 5 times and on 4/2/13 it was in the best shape I've seen it. The greens were in excellent condition with good speeds. Booking on golfnow I paid only $35 at 7:36 am. Worth every penny. Fairways were also in good shape with very few patches not 100%. Still it was in great shape. April 3, 2013
Hidden is right...as in hidden gem! Lived most of my life in the Anaheim area and had heard very little about it. Played it yesterday for the first time and liked it so much that I played a replay in the afternoon. Pace was good and played the first round in just over 3 hours. Half way through that first round, paired up with three dudes from the south, and as a group, they took their time (we let a bunch of singles and twosomes through) and we finished in about 5 hours (much of that was due to the fact that they had a cart gal out there until 5pm, which was terrific). Gets windy in the afternoon, but made it an entirely different course for that second round, which was cool. Greens are in great shape, challenging, but fair. Lots of carries, and highly visual shots with gorgeous views. If you can't get the ball off the tee, bring lots of bullets. Cool thing is the course toys with those who carry big egos, and rewards those who play a more pragmatic game. My new #2 favorite course behind Oak Quarry. This course reminds me a bit of The Falls at Lake Las Vegas, but minus the multi-hundred dollar greens fee...and the drive (or Eagle Glen in Corona, which I really enjoy). Driving range is sufficient, but not great. Only a 25 minute drive (sans traffic) from 91 and Weir Canyon, and a WAY better course than Anaheim Hills (to me, the least desirable course in the area), and a fraction of what the guys are charging at Tustin Ranch (which is often water-logged...although their food is legit). Oh, had a great sandwich on the Hidden Valley course yesterday, too. The cart gal (Cindy) even went and got it and delivered it for me. Cart prices much more reasonable than Tustin Ranch, too. If you want your golf game to get well, go to Dad Miller in Anaheim. If you want to push yourself and not go broke doing it, ride out to Hidden Valley. March 25, 2013
Always enjoy playing here. This course is always fun, and usually not to over crowded. There are holes where you can grip and rip it, and others that are a little more target golf. I wish that the carts had GPS. There are a few holes like #11 where you can blindly drive your ball through the fairway into a revine. But all in all a fun day. March 20, 2013
Another Great day @ Hidden Valley Showed up a single and was placed with a couple of great guys for the days round, the weather was a bit cloudy but the temp was perfect for golf. The course was as good as i've seen it, the greens were just right not to fast and they broke where they should of. The pace of play was right and the place was not overbooked. Eveything was right for a good round, Hidden Valley has some challenging holes and unless you on target every shot you will leave a few balls behind. I'm always happy with HVCC when I go. March 19, 2013
Beautiful scenic rolling hills This place is beautiful. Fairways roll up and down hills and greens are in great shape. Wide fairways make the course a little more forgiving than other desert style courses. No GPS but carts come with a book with a page layout of each hole and strategy (which I realized on the 8th- D'oh!). Many blind shots so the book or a knowledgeable partner is important. Some tiered greens made for tricky putts. Worth the hour drive east. Pace was good, marshal was doing a good job, although I noticed no slow players. A great place. March 18, 2013
Greens were very difficult, hard and fast. Views are great. Several holes had been cleaned up since I last played there. The overall improvement was positive. Shrubs had been removed from approaches and adjacent to several greens. One of my playing partners (handicap 7-8) four putted two par fives after hitting the greens in two. Still enjoyed the round. March 13, 2013
Great course needs some work from groundskeepers..tee boxes not in good shape and fairways hurting. Greens were great..fast and pure. We got there early and were sent out 10 minutes ahead of our time...very organized with carts and person in charge of handling times etc. Fairways were not in good shape, needed some seeding or more water. Sandtraps are lacking in sand and not kept up...greens are A! Hard and fast...great roll etc. One green is too fast #12...can't stop ball if you are uphill..need to adjust this one a bit better. Ending up catching up with all the groups ahead but still a great round. Always like Hidden Valley. March 6, 2013
The course was nice. A little over priced in my opinion. The course was in good shape... Some dry patches in the fairways. Slightly over priced. February 25, 2013
Beware of the 5-Somes, apparently allowed M-Th Apparently 5-Somes are allowed here, and there isn't a ranger to promote fast play... Took what should have an enjoyable 4 hour round and extended it to a 6 hour round. When a single comes up to play I feel the pro shop has a duty to inform a customer that there will be 5-6 5-Somes in front of you (apparently some sort of league, but why they play as 5-Somes bewilders me). After my round I went in to speak with the manager, he was dismissive and paid more attention to whatever he was looking at on his computer screen (clicking away with his mouse), while he did apologize I felt it was half-hearted and I should have been given his undivided attention for at least 3 minutes. The course was in ok shape, the wind made it more difficult than it should be. Disappointed that the 5-Somes in front of me didn't have the golf etiquette to wave me through, fix their ball marks on the green, rake the traps, or even remember to put the stick back in the hole a few times... If this is the type of player who plays here, and the type of service you get from "golf professionals", than this in not the place for me. February 14, 2013
unkind service I don't want to go again. I don't want to go again. I don't want to go again. February 12, 2013
It Could be Better The course layout is challenging and certainly offers some of the most panoramic views. I noticed that after not playing here for a while that they cleared some of the large vegetation areas -particularly on the No.1 hole. I realize that it is in the middle of winter and many of the fairways are dry and almost dead perhaps dormant, but the greens could be improved. I noticed several greens that had numerous ball marks that were not immediately repaired from days or weeks prior that left damaged areas. The club house is definitely looking worn and needs a face-lift. The driving range has always been the worst driving range I have ever seen and almost as bad as hitting into a net. The overall attention to detail for all areas is evident and perhaps becasue of budget constraints. The golf is just okay for me. February 7, 2013
Awesome Layout!! This course is fantastic! If you have never played here before i strongly suggest that you do. We had an early Monday morning tee time and it seemed like we were the only ones out there so the pace of play was entirely up to us. This is a tricky course especially if you have never played it before (like me). Luckily there are course information booklets with yardage and drawings of each hole in all of the golf carts, this really came in handy for those dog legs and blind shots. Hidden Valley is a course that will only seem to get better the more you play it because it seems course knowledge is required to score good. January 29, 2013
Winter Conditions Overall the course was a little brown, probably due to the frost in the mornings. Greens were pretty hard, couldn't get the ball to stick. Putting was tough due to the slops and hard surface. There wasn't any sand in the sand traps. No GPS in the cart, there used to be. A beautiful course, I will be back in the spring for sure. January 24, 2013
Love this golf course I love this golf course! Such a beautiful track and can't wait to come back January 23, 2013
The course layout is great. Love the golf course but the wind was almost unbearable. The golf course was very dry, which made it hard to stay in the fairway on tee shots. January 18, 2013
V e r y S l o w First the good, I think this is a very pretty course with some awesome views, the staff is friendly and professional. Now the frustration. I've played here twice in the last few months. First time was in November and we got thru 13 holes or so before we running into a very slow backup. We had waited some, but not too bad to that point. Our tee time was at 12:00 and finished the last 1 1/2 holes in the dark. Last weekend I got a 11:40 tee time, for 2. The backup started immediately. It took over 3 hours to play 9 holes. We were so frustrated that we left after teeing off on 11. From that vantage point, I could see 3 groups on 12, one on the tee, one in the fairway and one on the green. I could also see a backups on 13. It was my wife and I, so we payed around $100, feels like we just thru it in the trash. For this reason, I can't recommend this course and probably won't attempt to play it again. January 15, 2013
Great views of the inland empire One of the best courses I ever played. I payed 39.99 which seemed about right, that was with a hot deal though so unless you have 75 dollars you can spare catch a deal like I did and play it January 8, 2013
Amazing views Great course, 1st time i played there staff was amazing, course was difficult but rewarding, fast greens which i like and the view, all in all A GREAT DAY OF GOLF. January 3, 2013
Fairways weren't as lush as you'd like for some shots but it was ok overall. Lots of areas to lose your ball which makes it challenging. Fairways weren't as lush as you'd like for some shots but it was ok overall. Lots of areas to lose your ball which makes it challenging. December 25, 2012
This is very good golf course. Very nice golf course to play : Very challengable layout, long enough for your level, the hugh green is fast and difficult enough. Lots of up and downs. Very fun and nice view all around... December 13, 2012
good condition played after a light rain....no one out due to threatening rain. course was in good condition no standing water the greens were almost perfect....also played in less than 3 hours November 30, 2012
Beautiful course, tough greens! condition of course great all round, tight in places, well maintained but greens were fiendishly difficult. very friendly and helpful staff November 28, 2012
Course is challenging, fun & picturest Beautiful course with lots of challenging shot opportunities. The scenery is great and the course management is very friendly. Greens and fairways are well kept and you never seem to be backed up, so you’re able to golf at a good pace. November 23, 2012
Lovely course I had friends in town escaping the cold Chicago weather, so this was the first time any of us had played this course. It was absolutely lovely. Incredible value for money. Spectacular views, not too difficult, great condition, some tricky greens. Thank you Golf Now ! November 18, 2012
Very hilly and long distance between holes which add to playing time. The greens were all consistent. Enjoyed them fast and great shape. Glad the golf carts had gps feature. November 17, 2012
great PAr 3 holes on this course this course is very challenging and rewarding at the same time. if you can hit shots around the corners then you up and down is for birdie, extremely rewarding when those shots come together. November 6, 2012
The course had great scenery and very green I thought the course was in good shape. I thought the fairways needed to be cut a little more when i played, but greens were in very good shape. November 6, 2012
This course has so many different challenges and characters thru out the course. On a normal course my putting is right on but with this course the slopes just put so much challenge to my putting. Love the course and definitely be back for more. November 5, 2012
