Silverrock Currently under Repair The Staff was great. The course was ok for the summer and being maintained with challenges being the heat in the desert with a average temperature 0f 108. Greens had been sanded, which made it difficult to putt. Back nine is closed until November 2014. In order to play 18 holes you had to play the front nine twice. July 14, 2014
Great value Played front 9 twice and it was in great condition. Best conditioned greens we played on our trip July 11, 2014
One ot the best Continues to the be one of the best courses in the desert. Had to play the front nine twice as the back is closed for renovation. It was priced accordingly. With all of the tees to choose from it was no problem making it a completely different course 2nd time through. Not much else to say. This is simply some of the best golf to be found in the desert. Nice course but there was a lot of work being done. It was a nice course and I liked the lay out but the the back 9 was closed. The close hard some real drys spots and there was areas that were really wet and your ball would all most plug when you hit those spots. There was no beverage cart service so you had to get your own drinks. I would like to play this course again but all 18 holes. July 7, 2014
A good course Well I hadn't played this course in a number of years, but it is just as I remembered it. And that is it is a very good course. The only draw back is that only 9 holes are open due to construction on the back 9. But in all fairness to the course it is not their construction but that of the local water district. You will be challenged on this course, but you will still enjoy it as it will reward you for a good shot. Get out and play it. July 7, 2014
Scenery and BigHorn sheep abound First time playing, we found the course challenging and are looking forward to another chance with some course knowledge. GPS-equipped carts are great, scenery from every hole and even a dozen BigHorn sheep trotted by to begin grazing. Played the fron nine twice due to construction but knowing this upfront did not deter from an otherwise very enjoyable round. Great playing conditions, great staff and terrific summer bargain make it a must-play course. The SilverRock has become a new favorite and will be back in about two weeks! Recommend highly. Excellent scenery, challenge, gps and even Bighorns First time playing and found challenging without prior course knowledge. GPS-equipped carts a big help. Course condition for summer time very good, no complaints, but recommend going out as early as possible this time of year. Staff personalities amiable - always offering to help. Starter possibly could use some cheering up... Played front nine twice and that's ok but look forward to playing the complete course next time. July 3, 2014
this course would be great at the right time did not know it was only 9 holes of open play at the time of booking, and the course as just been air rated June 23, 2014
