Rated 4 out of 5 by haarmeyer Excellent for this time of year
It was driving in rough only, not fairway, due to overseeding. Brand new carts! No GPS system yet, coming. Course in reasonable condition considering time of year.

Tee time comes with FREE lunch ticket -- the burgers are great and the French fries are amazing!
ISGC has challenging Par 3 holes and most Par 5's are shorter so easy to make some birdies.

A good course, the greens are very true and fast. Staff in the clubhouse and on the course are very friendly. Always enjoy my round at Indian Springs

New system this season: a starter at the driving range. However, our tee time was delayed by 20 minutes for reasons not explained. Few things aggravate me more than being delayed off the tee: I show up on time, why can't the course be on time as well? Course was in good shape, but pace of play was on the slow side: 4 hours and 40 minutes. As a result, the 12:16 tee time, which should have allowed us to finish, became 12:36, so we could not play the 18th hole. At $49, this course sports one of the lowest green fees around, but I will not return until I hear better news about starting times, and they get marshals on the course to speed things up. I have played here for 20 years, very disappointing!

arrived at course a full hour early to warm up before my round with no rushing, young pros met is at car with cart loaded our clubs and took off before we even changed shoes or loaded our junk, blood pressure started to rise. Went and signed on at club house and was treated like trailer trash for booking on golf now instead of paying full price, blood pressure getting higher. Payed for two large bucket of range balls for foursome and asked for directions to range, was informed I needed to check in with starter on way to driving range located half mile away in dry river bed which I did as directed, when arriving at range we discovered the balls are kept at club house which was the final straw, I teed off on the starter an way back to club house and wasted fifteen minutes of my warm up time. Needless to say it'll be a frosty day in Palm Springs before I go back to that course again

We have played Indian Springs quite a few times over the years and it has always been in great condition. The same was true this time but as it was just after overseeding we could not take carts onto the fairways - they allowed carts in the rough so inconvenience was minimized but personally I like it when they look after a course.
This is a very fair golf course. Not over long but it has its challenges and a few really great holes.
We met the new owner, who was charming, and we will continue to come back as we always have.

Arrived on time to find out "a little behind". 40 minutes was a little. Found out from the starter that a group of 40 golfers showed up that had booked but shown as a week later. They slid them in to an already full tee sheet by putting them out in the back nine and then filtering them in on the front. To help they used 5 minute intervals. Whole course was backed up. Lots of apologizing but a brutal, well over 5 hour round.
