Half Moon Bay Golf Links

Half Moon Bay Golf Links has been ranked by Golf Digest as the “#18 Golf Resort in North America” and lauded by the New York Times as “the Pebble Beach experience just up the coast”. Conveniently located just 23 miles from San Francisco International Airport and just minutes from San Francisco and San Jose, Half Moon Bay Golf Links is the SF Bay Area’s top-rated public golf resort and features world class golf and stunning ocean views. The clubhouse includes a full-service bar and restaurant as well as a fully-stocked Pro Shop.

Unveiled in 1973, Arnold Palmer’s design for The Old Course exemplifies the traditional American parklands-style course, including generous yet challenging greens and dramatic fairways that weave around lakes and through evergreen trees in a series of strategically demanding holes. The final hole is spectacularly dramatic from tee to green as it parallels the Pacific Ocean bluffs and concludes in front of The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay.

The Ocean Course opened in 1997 and was quickly bestowed with numerous accolades including being name to Golf Digest’s “Top Ten Best New Upscale Course” list. An oceanfront course with Pacific Ocean views from every hole, award-winning golf architect Arthur Hills has used his immense design talent to create a firm and fast links course with an authentic Scottish soul. Fairways are separated by coastal mounding and native fescue, while open green fronts and creatively designed green surrounds support a variety of playing options. The Ocean’s three finishing holes have been lauded as among the best in course design.
