On hole after hole at Sierra Lakes Golf Club, you stand on the tee and feel as if you can reach out and touch those imposing mountains that lie just beyond the green. That's because Sierra Lakes' 18 holes, designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson, have been laid out to take full advantage of the site at the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains in Fontana.

Since its opening in 2000, Sierra Lakes has set a new standard of excellence for public courses in the area. At the club, daily-fee golfers have come to expect outstanding service, meticulous conditions and a challenging round every time they come to spend the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 Good Golf in Fontana??? Shocking!! This course is the cousin of Tustin Ranch GC at a fraction of the cost! Play it!! I was really skeptical about playing here. A good golf course in Fontana, really? Yes!! I had some time in the afternoon on a weekday and decided to squeeze in 18 with a buddy. It was windier than I would have liked, but other than that I was really surprised at how green and lush it was. I mean we're in a drought and every other course is crying about water and drying everything out. Some courses are intentionally killing off areas with grass, but Sierra Lakes is alive and well. The bunkers were not good. Like hitting off concrete in some of them. Despite that the rest of the course is pretty nice. I will definitely be playing here again, although I've been told not to bother on the weekends, it gets too crowded and pace of play goes down the toilet. October 9, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally played Sierra Lakes! The place is great. Super friendly staff, which to me is the most important aspect of any business; superb customer service. Did not try the food and beverage for no reason other than I had eaten beforehand and had to leave quickly due to prior engagement. Will try next time. Fairways were nice and greens as well. Not too fast and not too slow. September 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Course is in great shape We played at Sierra Lakes on Sunday 9/20/15. The course was in great shape, fairways were nice, and the greens were good. We played early so the round took just under 4 hours. September 21, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Spraying sand on the greens during play? This is always a fun course to play most any day but today was the exception. The grounds crew was spraying sand on the greens in front of us and during our round which made it impossible to keep a putt on line and / or judge the speed of our putts. Otherwise, we had a great time. September 12, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by sierra lakes Good condition but they punched the greens last Monday. So that was the only problem. If there is a way of knowing this it would be helpful. September 7, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Horrible green I loved this course. Because green was very sharp & fairway is good. But this week , they aerate all green without any motion on the online, proshop. September 7, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Greens were punched Golfnow did not state the greens were punched and when I hot to the course it was too late to try and play somewhere else. September 5, 2015
