Sierra Lakes Golf Course 4.3 5 204 204
Nice layout I enjoyed my first round here, walking the course in 4 hours and 30 minutes. The entire course was visually appealing - green and lush. Compared to other Ted Robinson designed courses that I've played, the greens here were much less contoured than I expected, but still had plenty of interesting undulations. Fairways were lush, offering nearly perfect lies, except on a few soggy, spongy sloped areas. Bunkers appeared to be quite challenging, though I was lucky enough to avoid all but one fairway bunker. Recommended. April 8, 2015
Weather is a definite factor when you play When the weather is nice and the wind is calm, this course is one of the finest in so-cal. But, when the wind picks up, you can bet dollars to donut holes your score will be much higher than usual. For instance, a 135-yard par 3 into the wind plays almost 200-yards! If you want to hone your low-boring trajectory shots, choose Sierra Lakes on a windy day. The weather will challenge your ability to keep it low and on the fairway. April 4, 2015
wide open the course was very fun to play and wide open large fairways and not very many people on a Monday afternoon well worth in dollars. the only problem that I saw this course was that the air fication on the greens had not completely healed yet March 24, 2015
The course was Good The course was good , the greens were aerated about two weeks ago ,so they were not up to speed. The bad part of the day was it was a 6 hour round !!!!!! The foursome ahead of our group was 2 holes behind , so that made it a long day March 23, 2015
Course was in great shape Greens were nice and the course was in great shape. The food was great and the service was good. March 22, 2015
Great friendly course Excellent course friendly staff great pace conditions are excellent March 22, 2015
Aeration Notification I have played this course several times and enjoyed it every time until now; however, the recent green aeration made this outing less than enjoyable. The greens were unreliable and, more to the point, I felt the course management and Golf Now should have advised the greens had been recently aerated. There was no adjustment in fees for the bumpy greens condition. March 14, 2015
Horrible Greens The course has a good layout. The greens were is terrible shape, seems like no one knows how to repair thier diviots on the green. The cost was $78.00 to play this course. I think thats about $30.00 to much. March 14, 2015
