Much improved
I played at Sierra Lakes a couple of years ago, the course condition at the time was pretty bad. I played there yesterday and the course was in very good condition.

Course played great due to the awesom conditions. No wind equals Eagle putts. Great time and the price is nice too.

Great course, greens still recovering from recent aeration.
Great course, My four- some teed off tuesday morning (3/19). Took 4 hours, which was a good pace. Greens are still showing signs of recent aeration, but were still ok to play on. Sand traps are of high quality. The only complaint I have is the person in the clubhouse who takes your money. He was rude and questioning the online payment I made through GOLFNOW. I purchased golf for my three- some for $28 each. Very good deal through GOLFNOW. The man in the clubhouse complained this is not right, it is to early in the day to be giving this $28 rate. His computer had are group being already being paid through GOLFNOW.. I had to show him my confirmation number. He was a little irate that I was getting such a good deal. I can't believe a golf course would have someone of his poor demeanor engaging with the customers.

Open fairways make this a forgiving course
Make sure you check the wind report before going as gusts were up to 35 mph. Course did move up the tees for holes that were going ito the wind to compensate. Course in nice shape and open fairways make this a forgiving course for those errant off the tee.

This course is always in good shape
From tee box to green this golf course is as good as it could be.this course is also forgiving to below average golfer and a good test for low handicap folders as well.the green fees are also reasonable.i would recommend this course a 100 % to anyone

Great - somewhat easy course.
Great course. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Course typically in good condition.
The pace of play can linger up to a 5 hour round some times. It's a beginner friendly course which can lend itself to newer golfers who don't know which tees to play from, so they play further back then they should and the rounds last longer.

Greens are in good condition. The course is well set up with generous fairways.
The course has nice sight lines and you can normally tell where the trouble is. The bunkers are well maintained and a fair challenge. The pace of play was good but we did wait on a few tees. A few spots in the fairways need attention but the overall tee to green experience is good.

The play is far too slow!
I like the course: it's well kept and the staff are great. However everytime I play, I have a hard time finishing because of the slow play.

Course is in Great Shape the greens were fast and the fairways excellant!
The course was in excellant condition. The greens were fast and just in great shape. The only thing is I believe they need a Marshall to keep the slow older players from holding people up so much. We had a foursome in front of us and they were so slow it was awful. We had to force them to allow us to pass at the 10th hole. they didn't want to but we told them there was a back up behind us because we were being held up by them They lets go and the back nine was GREAT!!

Great layout and design!
I just played here for the first time. I brought my cousin and his friend of which both have their PGA pro cards. From the tips the course gave them a little challenge but was still feasible for me. The course is not to tough or to easy...great balance for hackers like me (13 hcp) and better players. It was very windy (25-35 mph). The staff was very nice and helpful. Driving range was nice. The course has a great flow to it and weaves through homes but you have plenty of driving room so hitting a house would be very hard to do (on accident). Par 5's are reachable in 2 with a good drive, water on a few holes, great geography on this course...it's NOT flat. All around its a great course and with Golfnow prices I will be back.

Average to Skilled Golfers... its got what you need!
A great course, in excellent condition. The cold weather of late does have the normally pristine course seeing a few browning areas. Keeping in mind that browning area on this course, are better than more green areas on others.
Pricing on Golf Now makes it affordable to play on regular basis for the casual golfer, and the conditions of the course, and the challenge of well placed bunkers make you think the game as much as play it.
I will play here as often as I can ... HOWEVER... check the local weather before you plan your outing. Sitting in the Fontana Foothills, the winds here can be strong, and for the normal or weekend golfer it can ruin your perception of this beautiful course. For the more experienced golfer who likes an additional challenge, well, adding in the wind will do just that!

Greens are this course's best feature
Classic Ted Robinson design. Visually appealing but doesn't beat you up much. Water features are present but if you end up in one you probably deserve to be there - they are easy to avoid. Big wide fairways and large greens that run true and relatively fast. Not lightning fast but fast enough that if you get the speed early you can make some putts here. A pleasant experience overall.

Outstanding course from tee to green. Very well maintained.
No refreshment carts...slow in clubhouse between 9 & 10.
One gal working, but busy day. Overall experience...cant wait to go back.

I 15 corridor golf beware!
This is a nice well maintained course with a killer discounted buffet after your round. There's just one issue; the wind!!!
When it's windy out there it can really blow. Great practice for a good punch shot, keep it low with an abbreviated swing.
Greens were great , just tuff to putt in a 40 mph wind !!!

Quality Facility and Fun to Play
THE LAYOUT
Nice layout. Not target golf but a layout for the average player. No gotchyas to hit over in front of the tee boxes. That was a preasent surprise for my wife.
The fairways are the widest I have played. Its nice to just grip it and rip it with moderate concern rather that a grave concern for a miss hit. The approach is more of a challenge on some holes but for public golf less ball searching is faster rounds.
CONDITION
Tee through green the course is absolutely beautiful, By far the best greens in the Inland Empire and maybe all of Southern California. The ball rolls on the path you hit it. No right and left zig zag turns. I don't know what they were rolling at but I would guess they were stimped at a 10
PACE OF PLAY
When we got there it was as crowded as a muni outside of NYC on a beautiful summer day. We teed off late by about 15 minutes. I must say if it wasn't for the wide fairways it might have been a 5.5 hour round but instead it was 4.5 which is good for me. I did get a rush of aggitation when a 5some was allowed to tee off on the first hole but the pace turned out to be good. On a part three the 5some was allowed to hit up to another foursome and when we turned the corner we saw what looked like a gallery waiting for us to hit. Yes there were 9 people putting. Four soon dissapated and things straightened out again. We saw no golf patrols to prevent this kind of thing. Trust me players its of no help to anybody when you let people up on a par 3

EXCELLENTLY MAINTAINED COURSE
Sierra Lakes was in the best shape I have ever seen !! Lush tee boxes, and fairways. The greens were very nice, and very fast. We booked the first time of the day, and got a great deal through Golf now. I noticed that there were quite a few employees working on the course, which also tells me they are committed to keeping the course in great shape. It was one of the best golf experiences I have had in recent memory. Kudos to Sierra Lakes for investing in their future, when it seems that so many courses have let their courses go due to finances, or just lack of caring.

course is in great shape and the grass is very nice. It sometimes get over booked but worth it.
this is a fun course with a good layout. the grass is very nice and the bunker have decent sand. hardest part is reading the greens, you see breaks that don't happen and they can be fast and some put will go way past the hole.

SUPERFECT course !! Great staff. Great condition. Well worth the money.
It was a long ( 1 1/2 hour ) drive , but it was well worth the drive and money. I have been raving about the course to all of my friends. Can't wait to go again.

Good Course, Good Value
The Course is in good shape, only a few problem areas (couple greens, and some sod that is detached from the deck).
Pace of play is ok, got all 18 in with a 2.30 tee time (sundown at 6.35).
There are rangers on the course, but all I saw them doing was hunting for balls and chatting up their friends.
