Over booked Course was in fair condition. However it was a long day. 5 1/2 hour play with a ten min wait on each tee box. I have played this course several times in less than 4 hrs and this was just a long painful pace of play May 19, 2015
First time at Eastlake CC Very nice course! Fairways and greens in great shape. Great value for the money! I will be coming back for sure! May 16, 2015
Very Fun Round With Very Friendly People The greens are as close as they can get to how I remember them back in the 2000s, which is great, and the fairways are in very decent shape, but the bunkers need are almost unplayable in some areas. The majority of the bunkers, especially the fairway bunkers, need a lot of work, or they simply need to be redone. May 11, 2015
beautiful course Other the fact that you have homes around you. It's a great course. Shorter than what I am use to, but I loved it. May 2, 2015
not bad I was expecting the greens to be in worse shape because of fairly recent aeration but overall the course was in surprisingly good shape. Some of the rough was actually thick. They must have access to plenty of water for irrigation. I plan to go back soon. April 24, 2015
East Lake CC Moved to the area recently from north SD county and played Eastlake CC for the first time 4/18/15. Course was in pretty decent condition (referring to fairways and greens most importantly). Fairways were well groomed and relatively green. I did find it tough to compress through the turf as the fairways were fairly dry under the surface. Totally different type of ball striking. More of a pick-it-clean approach next time. If I had to pick a "negative," I'd say I found the bunkers disappointing. They were like hitting off of hard dirt. They weren't scored or groomed like my experience at many other SD courses. Probably the firmest bunkers I've played in San Diego since starting golf 15 plus years ago. But I took it as a challenge to adjust and did fine. Just hard to play a true bunker shot. Felt more like waist areas. It'll be very interesting to see how this course plays when the summer months are in full effect. According to past reviews, it's gets pretty crispy. But at the end of the day, I felt good about the layout, general conditions, and the great $35 Golf Now price (required me to book online) I'll play here again. April 20, 2015
great layout for this course teed off at 8:22 on Sunday morning it was finished by 12:30 taste was phenomenal that was pace of play courses in pretty good shape April 13, 2015
Good Value Course was in good shape. Pace of play was great. Holes open but challenging. Will definitely play there again! April 8, 2015
