Terrible greens and slow round
This was about the 10th time I played here. Its never great but never bad, you can score well, and the people are friendly. Yesterday was different. They had punched the greens about 10 days ago but never put the alert on the website like Salt Creek, Carlton Oaks, etc. do, so that was annoying from the start. They gave us a heads up when we were paying that two of the greens would be bad and those two were pretty much unplayable due to giant gouges and dead patches covering more than 3/4ths of the green. But even beyond that the rest of the greens were in awful shape. Huge chunks had been taken out as if they had a faulty lawnmower or something. They also clearly had sprinkler issues because most of the course was totally dried out but around the sprinklers were huge puddles of standing water and unmowed grass. I couldn't believe they were charging the normal $55 still. To top it all off the round was very slow, at about 4:45 in pace. Was really disappointed and will likely not go back here.

Use to really enjoy this course, but the fairways and greens are in just a bad state: the green on #4 is almost bare dirt - it is a par 3 and they should set up a temp green and strip the whole thing and start over. Fairways have too many bare/burned out spots to count and they are not marked as unplayable... Other greens have so many ball marks, they are unplayable, too - that is not the course's fault, but I think golfers take more care when it appears the course cares.

Drought taking its toll
Played at 7:22 on 8/31/14. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, both in pro shop and restaurant. Played white tee, which is pretty short at 5834. Course layout is pretty straight forward, not really too challenging from the whites. Lots of bunkers, some water. This course, as most others in the area is getting beaten up with the drought and the heat at this time of the year. They are trying, but lots of spotty areas in the fairways, with no or little grass. Greens are okay, putt really nice, but number 4 is in dire distress, they may lose it. I like the track, and will return, but will play blue next time. Excellent facilities, well kept, clean.

a great course if only the greens are well maintained!
The greens are in terrible condition....compared to the last time I played here a couple years ago!

I've played this course several times...there were some greens that were dead and a lot of mushy flooded areas on the course

What's up with the greens
Really good course. Usually don't play there much because as a beginner a little pricey unless I can find a deal. Have played there two or three times before and things were very good. The greens this time were so bad I had to repair large mud spots to putt in middle of the greens. Seemed like they were a bit over watered as when trying to fix ball marks the surface just crumbled or pulled the grass from the soil with just the slightest effort. Still love the course and the staff is great, just ask about the greens when making a reservation. I like to think this was a one off.

it must be under repair
S i got a great rate On golf now to go play after 3:00 I got there and the place was basically empty. I had played here at least 3 or 4 times before and Remember the course as a good one. well the fairways are being receded and the greens were horrible. The bunkers were rock hard..... wont play there again till I know they have fixed it.
