Great time Love this course, very forgiving play for any handicap, would recommend to all my friends. Thanks for the friendly staff and beautiful greens. June 20, 2015
Huge Disappointment I rely heavily on honest reviews when I travel and play golf at unfamiliar courses. The reviews for this course were pretty good, so I had relatively high expectations. I arranged a tee time for myself and my inlaws who are also avid golfers. The course was not in good shape. The fairways were like playing out of short rough, and the greens were terrible. Slow and bumpy, to say the least. To make it worse, we had an extremely slow foursome ahead of us who refused to let us play through, and not once did we see a marshal. Another negative was that my inlaws had to rent clubs, and spent $40 each to rent, literally, fifteen year-old clubs. The only bright spots were that the staff was friendly, and the course did have some interesting holes. Too bad we did not really get to enjoy our round, though. June 17, 2015
Very interesting Great greens fairways need some work! Ruff is very long and a good challenge that will help you keep the ball in the fairway. Play was pretty slow. Overall a fun place to play and very challenging. The food was good and they have sandwiches ready if you're in a hurry. They also have a variety of beers on tap. June 14, 2015
Practice Round I am playing in the South Bay Amateur this weekend and this is one of the courses. The course was in fair condition and the pace of play was good. June 11, 2015
course in great shape Love the layout of this course. Some nice elevation changes and the surrounding hills make for a nice backdrop on some holes. June 8, 2015
Nice work east lake! The course is in great shape! Haven't played here in years and I couldn't believe the course was in such good shape. They've done a great job making the course more drought friendly and still extremely playable. Play this track now, before it dries out! June 4, 2015
Nice semi-hidden gem in the south bay Eastlake is a nice golf course for all skill levels. Not too long of a course (about 6,300 from the blue tees) including a few short par 4's that offer easy scoring opportunities. Pace of play was pretty reasonable (4 hrs 10 minutes including a 5-10 minute break to grab a snack before playing the back 9). I'll be back to play again very soon. June 3, 2015
bunkers The only thing I find is the bunkers are extremely hard. The club bounces of the sand. June 3, 2015
