Fun Course for the money Several long up and downhill 4 and 5 pars. A couple elevated tee boxes. Some callenging water on 3 pars on back nine. Nice layout, typical San Diego drainage style. Houses, but they do not come into play, typically elevated above the course. Dried up fairways because of the drought could really use some water. April 14, 2014
Good value for the money The course was in good shape, greens had been aerated recently and a couple of them were still a little bumpy. Overall a great round. April 13, 2014
Great course for the money Very scenic and had challenging holes... Great for the mid level handicapper! April 13, 2014
Fun course to play I played first thing in the morning so pace of play was really fast, we were first out behind a single, played 18 in just over 3 hours. Course was in good shape. The worst part was the greens but they were just recently aerated and I will assume they will get better soon. Didn't eat or drink do I cannot really comment on that. Overall it was a very enjoyable course in good shape, I'll be back again for sure. April 13, 2014
This course is fun if you keep the ball in play I play this course quite often, you are rewarded with a good score if you keep the ball in play. The greens were a little bumpy yesterday but overall the course is good shape. April 7, 2014
Great course Very nice course, well taken care. The greens are solid as well as challenging. The back 9 usually is done in about two hours, the ambassadors keep the players moving on time. The carts include GPS which is always helpful, and the staff is always great. March 30, 2014
It's alright Eastlake is not a country club. The facilities are not what I would look for in a country club. It is a decent golf course that does require a player to think his way around it. You will need every shot in the bag for this track March 26, 2014
Poor Fairways I have probably played Eastlake at least 100 times. I have a friend who visits here from San Jose at least 4 times a year and we always include Eastlake. I remember when players from all over the county always wanted to play Eastlake. Now, the prices are higher and the course is in horrible condition. The greens are fair to good the fairways are awful. While the staff are some of the friendliest, the course is not what it used to be. I live about 30 miles from the course. I didn't mind before, but now...Please get it back to where it was! March 25, 2014
