Old Course with Lots of Trees Played the last week before they close for re-seeding. October 4, 2014
A Good Short Game Challenge Playing Date Palm CC brought back a bit of nostalgia for the old style courses of my youth. Lots of large old trees in the fairways, some tight fairway and tee shots requiring shaping shots or at least hitting to certain areas of the green. NO railroad ties, buried elephants, or 440 yd par 4's here. A very relaxing round and a good test for your short game and tee shot accuracy . Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year . Greens ran a little slower than they looked September 24, 2014
Easy Greens Greens were relatively flat, minimal break, true rolls, and only one green had a small tier. Older course amongst mobile home community with mature trees which provide SHADE during the hot weather. So at sitting in the shade with slow play. Good course to take a beginner or grandpa September 22, 2014
Executive Awesomeness $25 with a cart on a weekend for an executive 18 doesn't get better value wise. The course was exceptionally green and well maintained. Where some desert courses will cut water costs and brown their fairways, there was no corning cutting here. The greens were even soft enough to catch a 6, but run your putts past if you weren't careful. Excellent staff directed us around the course and the cart tender picked up the cart from our trunk, which was extremely nice. It was my girlfriend's 1st time golfing and it was the perfect course to introduce the game. September 22, 2014
Great local course As a beginner, this course is not intimidating, yet challenging. The course prices are great and everything is easy to get to. When the restaurant is open, this place is all things in one spot. September 4, 2014
Nice short course Staff was very friendly. Course is in good condition. Great practice for the short game. It was 105* when I played, so course was fairly wide open. I played in 2 hrs with some mulligans for practice. People living on the course are also very nice. Like others have said, I do believe I used every club in the bag. It's a great value. I will return. June 1, 2014
