Rancho Cañada presents an outstanding golf club facility with two 18-hole courses that meander back and forth over the Carmel River. These mature venues were once a prized portion of a 4,366 acre California Rancho named, "Cañada de la Segunda."
In the tradition of great golf courses, both layouts are unencumbered with real estate development so that you can enjoy Rancho Cañada`s gently rolling fairways and pristine greens framed by the Santa Lucia mountains and stately trees.
The 6,357 yard West Course will test your golfing skills. Fairways range from deceptively broad to needle narrow as you traverse the Carmel River three different times. On the back nine, lofty stands of cottonwood and sycamore trees await errant shots. Sophisticated golfers will love this layout!.
The 6,109 yard East Course is more a matter of skill than of length. The Carmel river comes into play five different times as you negotiate a front nine with holes that start out deceptively open in nature. By the time you reach the back nine, you will experience and appreciate some of the finest finishing holes on the Monterey Peninsula!

Rancho Cañada offers much more than 36 holes of great golf. Our handsome clubhouse sits on a hill overlooking plush fairways and velvety greens to serve you delicious food and full bar libations in our comfortable Grill Room. Breakfast and lunch are served 7 days every week. On Friday nights, enjoy an elegant Prime Rib Buffet in our gracious Golfer's Grill. It has become a Carmel tradition famous for true dining value served in a country club setting with attentive service provided by a staff that really cares about your complete satisfaction.
With two championship 18-hole courses, Rancho Cañada Golf Club can easily host golf groups from 20 to 400 players for a special outing or charity event. Your committee will appreciate the fact that our seasoned professional staff will handle every detail including tournament flyers, tee gifts, golf cart and hole assignments, complete tournament summaries and calligraphy scorekeeping. Then we will provide your group with prizes and an awards banquet that will delight all participants.
