Perched along the spectacular Sonoma County Coast, the Links at Bodega Harbour has once again received a Golf Digest “Places to Play” award. In addition to receiving this prestigious award each year since its inception, Bodega Harbour was named #11 by American Express’ Departures Magazine in their ranking of California’s 25 most challenging courses, and is annually rated as one of Northern California’s top ten courses.

Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed a true Scottish seaside links course, reminiscent of those found in Scotland, birthplace of this great game. On the Links at Bodega Harbour you’ll discover golf as it was meant to be! The combination of rolling fairways, cavernous pot bunkers, undulating greens, native coastal rough and seaside marshes create a golf setting unmatched in North America!

From the mounded and rolling fairways of the front nine to “The Pit”, the dramatic 3 finishing holes, you will enjoy a truly memorable golf experience! Enjoy unparalleled views of the Pacific and Point Reyes from 17 of the 18 holes during your round, and then relax in the Ocean View Pub, perhaps replaying your “day on the links” while watching play in “The Pit”, or just sit back and enjoy the spectacular view.

beautiful ocean course Course layout was very challenging with hills and elevated green. Fog came in on the first nine holes (we teed off at 9am) and once we can see the course better, the view and the layout were simply excellent. We played 10 days after course maintenance so green was slow and bumpy and the rate was discounted for this. March 17, 2015
Great views I'm going to start with the positive. The course was in great shape from first tee to 18th green. It has some very good challenges with excellent views throughout. A bit of a warning. The wind comes up in the afternoon and makes some of the holes very challenging. Now the other side of the coin. First off the staff. The younger gentleman in the pro shop was great. No complaints there at all. He was nice, professional, customer service oriented and accommodating. unfortuneately he wasn't the only person there. The older guy was.... Well you get the point. He was so bad we actually put our clubs back in the car and started to leave. As for the food. There is a snack shop attached to the pro shop and a restaurant across the parking lot that overlooks the ocean and 18th green. Unfortunately both closed early on the wednesday we played so we didn't get any food at the turn (no drink carts on the course) nor enjoy an after round drink and meal. It's a true links course in great shape with spectacular views of the pacific. All at a reasonable price. For that I give it a 3.5 star rating. Just don't expect 4-5 star service like at other clubs. Oh and another bonus. Look for the local "pet" bobcat on the 11th or 12th Tee. It came out after we rolled up and laced in the grass to watch us tee off. Sooo cool! March 3, 2015
Beautiful Winter Day Have played here over 100 times, but the weather was about the best I ever experienced there. It made the hilly, windy layout even better. Greens, fairways and sand traps in excellent shape. I played with a stranger and we hit it off great. It was his first time at Bodega and he was awed with the course and and Ocean views. Bodega Bay The course was in great shape and with there being no wind at all, it made it that much more pleasant and easier. January 11, 2015
Great time Course in great condition, windy to begin with but settled down after the turn. Great round had by all, will go back with the deal we got !!!! January 8, 2015
Pluses and minuses Pluses: Ocean views (except see below), unique holes (see below), well designed greens in good shape and rolling fairly true. Minuses: Unique holes--like 18: a par 4 with blind tee and approach shots (unless your drive is positioned left and relatively long), a par 5 that needs a full (incorrect) diagram at the tee box to convey the driving target (don't aim over the red tees from the blue tee box as it advises), beautiful ocean views UNTIL you actually get to play right along the coast on 16 and 17 where the ocean is completely hidden by a continuous tall dune, greens that look like mine fields due to pig golfers not repairing their ball marks, no sand and seed containers on the carts, and my number one pet peeve--slow play with no marshall. Overall, I enjoy the course. Despite a few odd holes, the design is interesting and thought is required at most tee boxes to choose a club and landing area. It's not an easy walking course by any stretch. The drive from most locations is not short, but it is very scenic. December 27, 2014
Course is in excellent condition! A perfect day of golf on the Sonoma Coast! Great fairways, challenging greens, and beautiful views from every tee box. October 24, 2014
