Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 27 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor conditions I haven't played Azusa in about a year. Totally Inot satisfied with course conditions. Tee boxes long grass with lots of crab grass, many patches of crab grass on fairways, off fairways unable to hit out due to either pine needles, crab grass or just dirt. Greens a lot bumps, crab grass and dead patches. Won't be going back anytime soon September 20, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by treated extremely rude by staff Apparently they have special rules for practicing at there facilities based on unpublished rules. Staff was very rude and insisted on harassment even after they realized I was in right. December 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasantly Surprised! I grew up right on this golf course, but never played it. I didn't take up golf until well into adult life. I was a bit timid after reading the reviews, but pulled the trigger anyways. The greens were in great shape! Not as fast as I would like, but thats ok, as every green sloped heavily back to front. I didnt have a flat putt all day! The fairways were not bad at all, but the tee boxes could use some work. The reason for my low rating on pace of play may be a bit unfair, as it was Memorial Day. Rated 4 out of 5 by Average. Nothing special The course is in a nice setting against the foothills. The fairways are fairly skinny. Greens and tee boxes have been in pretty good shape. Bunkers need some love as well as a few fairways. $39 with cart wasn't a bad price. I would golf here again for a simple practice round with friends or for mid iron practice. Driving range is basic. Good only for a warm up. The snack at has good food options but is not fast. Check the menu out ahead of time and call ahead around the 7th hole (seriously, I do). They are very slow and the 2 times I walked up the friendly lady has messed up my order. Really nothing bad to say. Just a decent price for a decent course. Like i said Inexpensive place for a practice round. March 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Much better than before We used to frequent this course a lot about 5 years ago. Then they changed owners and the course went down the tubes. Since maybe Jan 2013, the old owners are back and have invested money in making the course good again. We booked a round and the course was in very good condition. Greens were nice and smooth but the tee boxes need to be leveled. June 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by You get what you pay for, which was OK... I drove out the Azusa Greens since there was a Hot Deal twilight tee time which made this course appealing to try for the first time. Upon arriving the clubhouse looked pretty nice from the exterior, obviously new construction which was encouraging. The staff was cordial and gave some advice on a few holes before teeing off. The course itself was patchy in some areas, exposed dirt and wood chips appeared on most of the holes because of the regulations on watering in the LA area. Otherwise, this track was decent at best- it played a little short for my liking but for others it may suite just fine. Most of the holes were fairly similar, there wasn't much excitement in the configuration of the layout i.e. straight shots, tiny doglegs etc. The pace was a bit slow because of the time of day I played. Having said this, I can see the potential for weekend warriors and casual players if this course was well maintained. I seemed as though my ball was bouncing on the greens and therefore putts just wouldn't drop. If you live in the area and are looking for a cheap round than go for it. But at least for me, I won't be heading back anytime soon when I can play longer length and well-maintained courses in other locations. June 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great course to work on your game! Great deal! Only a couple rough fairways but overall good conditions and good greens! June 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This course would be good for a senior player The course needs to have more maintenance work done especially on the fairways, lots of holes requiring a draw swing. Greens were in good condition. There is a driving range with mats & they have a practice area for chipping & are currently building a sand strap practice area. May 29, 2013
