Dubbed "the finest golf course that's opened in the Bay Area in years" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Roddy Ranch is set near the Sacramento River Delta town of Antioch. Views include nearby Mt. Diablo and even the Sierra Nevada in clear weather. Carved from a 2000-acre working cattle ranch, the course's 235 acres offer a true links-style layout over a canvas of an exquisite landscape.

Great course but....... Its a very unique and difficult course. Unfortunately due to our water shortage situation, its very difficult to keep it well maintained. Lots of dirt patches throughout the course. September 20, 2014
Great day of golf Had a great time at Roddy Ranch. The course is a bit beaten up by what looks like to be pigs tearing up the fairways. A good challenging course with lots of tough shots. Because of the current drought, the course is a little brown but very acceptable. The greens are great and very fast. I would play here again. September 19, 2014
East Bay Gem Roddy Ranch is a great course that offers a very scenic and reasonably challenging experience. Be honest with your skills when you play...the tips are not for the weekend warrior. Beginners to intermediate players should really consider the White tees or you're in for a long day. The greens are awesome...so fix your ball marks to keep them that way. If you're playing with an experienced Roddy player...listen to them, especially on the greens...it'll save you at least 4 strokes if not more. Have a great time...do not stray off the fairways to look for errant shots...save that space for the Rattlesnakes. Great East Bay Gem...so tee em high and let em fly. September 15, 2014
Excellent greens, even with the drought. This is one of the best value courses in the Bay Area, based on the quality of the course routing, quality of the greens, and the challenge it provides. The greens were in very good shape and only a few spots didn't roll true. Unfortunately while they are keeping the most important part in good shape, the fairways have suffered tremendously. There is a lot of GUR circles around and in fairness sometimes it's difficult to see why they circled some spots when other spots on the same fairway were in worse shape. Fortunatly I am used to and happy to play it down so I didn't mind. Just be forwarned they are beat up. That said. the conditions cannot take away from what is a fun course and I still recommend it to golfers who genuinely appreciate playing the game. September 12, 2014
Roddy Ranch first time This course is definitely tough. You have to be on your A game especially on the greens. I played with my buddy and they paired us up with a low handicap twosome. Needless to say it was not too difficult for them. But we all had a blast. I'm a 18 handicap and shot a 101. The slope rating was 140 so I wasn't expecting much less. I will play it again now that I know it a little better. September 8, 2014
Great Price and a great course!!! Great day for playing at Roddy Ranch. The price was $15 cheaper than their current rate. The course is in great shape and "brown is the new green" due to drought conditions. Fairways were fine and the greens rolled very true and fast! Great time August 28, 2014
Very interesting course Each hole opens up to a different type of play. A lot of different tea boxes for all different skills of Golf . August 26, 2014
Great course Course is great, the water restrictions make it a little brown August 24, 2014
