Set at 2100 feet elevation in the beautiful upper Sonoran desert, LCGC is surrounded by spectacular views of Vulture Peak to the south and the Bradshaw Mountains to the north.

The course Signature Hole is the 13th. Playing 605 yards from the back tees, featuring numerous elevation changes and a small well-protected undulating green. It is consistently rated as one of the most challenging par 5 holes in the state.

Adding to the ambiance of this prestigious course are the driving ranges, practice putting greens, short game practice area and the first-rate staff that make LCGC the golf vacation to remember.

The Los Caballeros Clubhouse is decorated in the tones of the desert with a southwestern flair. The Club Chef provides lunch from a fresh grill menu daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Lovely scenery, very enjoyable experience While they were getting ready for overseed, we thoroughly enjoyed our round. The course is somewhat challenging, but fair both from the men's and ladies' tees. The staff was very friendly. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and the pace of play was reasonable with no pressure. We look forward to coming back. October 13, 2014
Disappointing We drove 1 hour to get to this course because the website made it look amazing. It isn't, very average course. Tboxes were mangy, fairways had weeds. What was most disappointing was the way we were treated in the pro shop. According to them what I was wearing was not appropriate, no collar on my sleevless shirt, and my skirt was too short, even though it was below my fingertips and covered 1/2 of my upper leg. If we wanted to play I was forced to buy a new shirt and skirt which cost us $80. There was no signs saying the women's shirt had to be collared, and nothing about the length of the skirts. All that was stated outside the pro shop and in the women's bathroom was that there was no bikini tops or tank tops, neither of which I was wearing. I felt the staff at the pro shop was making their own rules, based on what their members liked or disliked. On top of all that, once we started playing there was a foursome behind us that one of the women had short shorts on, that did not cover 1/4 of her upper leg, yet they were allowed on the course. Bottom line, they need to clearly state their dress code and be consistent with all players. They even sold clothing in the pro shop that according to the staff would not meet their dress code on the course. September 28, 2014
Los Caballeros This course is the best value in the southwest! Course conditions, views and pace of play is fantastic! September 14, 2014
Course Very nice great course worth the hour drive from Phoenix . September 9, 2014
Bang for your buck! Can't beat Los Caballeros is a great value this time of year! Course is in great condition and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. September 5, 2014
You need to play this track Really tough course that is a lot of fun. Not too many holes that are obvious birdies. Nearly every green is elevated and add to the overall length of this gem. Greens could be faster but the course is in top top shape otherwise August 25, 2014
Tougher than expected No real issues weather was cooler after the rain Not crowded at all The pins were hard to reach And being new to the lay out we all scored high August 21, 2014
First Class Operation Played a round with my daughter before she left for college. The area had seen heavy rain the night before. Course had drain well and had a few soggy spots. Bunkers (plenty of experience in them today) were mostly dry with soft sand. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. This is a desert course that does require a fair degree of accuracy. The numerous tee boxes made it fun for me and my daughter who is in her first summer of golf. Ryan and the rest of the staff were first rate. We saw only two other foursomes the whole day. Had lunch in the clubhouse. Again the service was top notch. For the price and hospitality I would much rather make the drive to Wickenburg than play an equivalent price point course in PHX that winds through a housing development. August 19, 2014
