View Tee Times

As classic desert-style, target course, the Mountain has many changes in elevation and several elevated tees. Putting is a challenge because the greens are undulating and typically fast.

As the most photographed hole west of the Mississippi, the celebrated Mountain Number 3, plays across 107 yards of cactus and canyons...and the tee offers a breathtaking panorama that stretches for a hundred miles across the Sonoran Desert into Mexico.

Rated 5 out of 5 by good course and great shape It was my first time playing Ventana and it was in great shape, undulated and somewhat challenging for me. Overall great. August 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by You want to play early in the summer Plenty of rain this summer sees this course in top condition. Front nine more difficult than back. Greens don't hold shots well. August 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome views !!!! Wow !!!! Great views awesome course to play , looking at playing the canyon course next!!! One thing is that they put us with this one man ... Nice guy but he would take a while for his shot which held us back and made it a longer day than it needed to be. But I would DEFINITELY play this course again!!! August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeding Expectations Having played many area courses and a critic by nature I can honestly say the Ventana courses are the best of the best in tucson. Yes, the price to play is a little more than others but well worth it factoring in the included range balls, service, and course conditions. Find a "HOT DEAL" on golfnow.com for cheaper tee time prices, its the only way I could afford to play this nice of courses. Soft plush bermuda fairways take playing to a entire different level, its like using a tee hitting off these fairways they are so prime. If you have played at Ventana you know what I mean, if you have not you gotta play Ventana. August 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleasant The staff was pleasant and helpful. Course was tough! Hot, humid, soft and long. Welcome to Tucson in the monsoon. I'll be back. August 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great layout and fun course. Played both Mountain and Canyon. Greens were in good shape, rolled true and were fast. Fairways in excellent condition. Do not stray to far off line when playing the Mountain course as you will be penalized. Service was very good and the practice area was great. Will definately play again if in the area. Rated 3 out of 5 by My he course itself is beautiful, but greens were in bad shape In retrospect I wonder if that is why it was such a good deal, because it looks like they had redone all the greens and they were not smooth at all! There were ridges all over the playing surface and you couldn't keep the ball on any sort of plane to save your life. Fairways were in good shape though. There was also no beverage cart at all, not once did we pass one all day. Our cart also started to quit on us after hole 15 and we jerked our way through18 as there was no way to communicate with the clubhouse. It did finally die before we made it back and another single behind us gave one of us a ride back, so we could get another cart to bring our clubs back, as it is far and uphill. Overall not what I'd have expected from one of the premier locations in Tucson. August 9, 2015
