Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.

Along the way, its diverse 6,776-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun!

As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Arizona National has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the University of Arizona Wildcats men`s and women`s collegiate teams. The teams will practice and play regularly at Arizona National and will also be host to all University of Arizona collegiate events.

Great course This course was awesome. Fairways and greens in great shape . A Must play when in Tucson. Great scenery at almost every hole . Bring your camera. Use yardage book not every par 4 or 5 is driver off the tee. Stay below the pin if possible . March 18, 2015
Excellent Course I really enjoyed the course and the layout of it. By far some of the best views in all of Tucson. The course played extremely difficult due to extremely high winds. Would really like to play the course under more favorable conditions. Lost more balls than I care to count, but weather did play a factor. March 16, 2015
Excellent shape. Very good pace of play. Course very green and playable for all skill levels. March 12, 2015

Views for days I had out of town company and wanted to show off the sites of Tucson. We were more than happy with every hole was on sensory overload. There is no better shot than the tee box o #18. The course is in great condition, both challenging and forgiving at the same time. I will recommend again and I will surely be back. March 3, 2015
Az national Great course. Very friendly staff. Course in great condition. Excellent value for the money. February 19, 2015
This course has great features. The course was design by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. with large 2 tier greens and plenty of bunkers. It was in excellent condition and very scenic with mountain views. There were white tail rabbits in the brush on practically every hole. The course had 5 sets of tee boxes. I would suggest playing the course from the tee box that allows you to reach par 4's with an iron on your 2nd shot. To score well you'll need to be good at course management and be a good putter. Good Course to Play Excellent course, wonderful vistas throughout the course. Greens and fairways in good shape. All holes play fair. Back 9 is pretty long. A few holes have blind tee shots but there are aiming posts. Lots of elevation changes. Helps to play for first time with someone who has some course knowledge. Not really a walkable course. 18 has fantastic views from tee box (see photo) February 17, 2015
