Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.

Along the way, its diverse 6,776-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun!

As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Arizona National has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the University of Arizona Wildcats men`s and women`s collegiate teams. The teams will practice and play regularly at Arizona National and will also be host to all University of Arizona collegiate events.

What a Surprize! This course has changed ownership. Put behind you what you have seen or heard. The course is in excellent shape! The greens were perfect. No brown spots. Traps needed som attention, but the course was great! Can you say "Green." October 16, 2014
Great shape and value... Haven't been to Az. Nat'l for a year or so because I heard of it's demise. Forget that! The course is in great shape and condition. It is lush and green in the fairways. Greens are a bit slow. The "rough" is thick, and you can lose your ball there if not careful. Car-path only the day we went. That made it a bit tough. Absolutely NO service on the course during the round. So bring your food or beverage. Shot a 40 on the front nine, which is good for me. Back nine is much more challenging. Elevations and views are incredible. "18" is the signature hole. October 14, 2014
love az nat'l the service is excellent. great value for the price. drop dead views. just bring your own drinks because the beverage cart seems to only come around once. this is now my favorite course in tucson. September 13, 2014
Phoenix Tucson Like the legendary bird that was held to live for years. And then to burn itself to death, and now with the help OB sports, will rise fresh and young from its ashes. The new ownership and management team are off to a great start. when you arrive the service attendants great you friendly, and expedite you to the pro shop where you are greeted by more friendly and knowledgeable staff. The course is work in progress but coming along nicely. The greens are good, the fairways good, tee boxes good, sand needs work but the area has had a lot of rain so! Tuff track but fun. Play it forward for first visit to check it out. Plays great from the blues and the short hitters will like the red or combo tee's Cheers! September 12, 2014
Spectacular views and course layout. City views from the golf course are unparalleled. For the money, best foothills course in Tucson. September 11, 2014
Great Conditions, Pace was terrible. Great conditions for the course, however there was a foursome a few groups ahead of ours that thought it was okay to stop and restart whenever they felt like it. Pace was so slow, I was on Tee box #16 and my watch sad we had already spent 4.5 hours on the course. I picked up and left and saw groups stacked up except going to 18 which was clear. Need marshalls to keep pace up. September 8, 2014
Awesome Course was fantastic. Greens were excellent. Wildlife and views everywhere September 3, 2014
Play this course, it is nice and has great views of the city!! I played this course at 8:40 in the morning with a friend and we didn't have any problems with playing at our own speed. The night before it had rained so the course was a little wet, but nothing more to note. The course was in good shape in my opinion. Greens we all but perfect for this time of year, same with the fairways. Tee boxes have the typical crown to them and they are consistent which is nice. Bunkers weren't visited by us but they looked a little hard. Grass is everywhere with minimal dry areas and we didn't feel like we were missing anything while playing the round. Course can be challenging at times with some very blind shots if you play from the blues or blacks, but it has a nice layout and excellent views all around. This is a must play if you've never played here before. August 13, 2014
