Arizona National Golf Club
Course is starting to come back nicely.
Fairways and greens are in great shape. sand traps need to be raked out with the new sand that is dumped into most of them. Tee boxes need to be re-buillt and leveled out.
Glory days of The Raven don't look like they are very far off.

Back to its best
The course has been almost totally redone. It is in as good a shape as it has ever been - which is very good indeed. One of the best courses in Tucson and I hope it stays that way.

the course is in fabulous shape
The course was closed for 5 months and brought back to pristine condition. This is a great course and the university course for some of the greatest players on both tours. You should give this course at least a 4 star rating!!

Great value if you get a discount
Got a late afternoon time for a low price but the course wasn't that crowded and we finished right at sunset. They've obviously been working on the course, it's in much better shape than a year ago. The greens were a little slow and the fairways had a few brown spots but overall the condition was good. The starter told me they had been working on the bunkers and it showed. Instead of the hard packed traps so common in Tucson the sand was fluffy. Tees and aprons were nice and green.

Challenging track in great condition
I have played AZ National many times over the past 5 years. It's current condition is the best I have seen. I played Nov 1st. as they recently re-opened after fall reseeding. The fairways were lush, greens full and a bit longer (slower) than normal, but I'm sure they will be cut down quickly. It's great to see quality reurn to this course.

A real pleasant surprise .I want to go back.
We were anxious because of negative stories. About it being run down and brown. Well it is not. Its VERY green, well maintained
And a lot of fun. More wild life than the desert museum . Great views every where. Greens slow to medium but very true to putt.
Every one is there to help! Both thumbs up.

A Classic is Returning
Arizona National has been one of my favorite Tucson courses for years. The ownership experienced financial problems and destroyed the playing experience. The water was shut off and the course almost died. It was closed for the summer, watered, and planted to winter rye. I am pleased to report it is again emerald green and playable. It is not yet top rate, but there's hope.
