Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.

Along the way, its diverse 6,776-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun!

As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Arizona National has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the University of Arizona Wildcats men`s and women`s collegiate teams. The teams will practice and play regularly at Arizona National and will also be host to all University of Arizona collegiate events.

AZ National Course was beautiful, but we were lucky that one of our players had played the course before because there are many blind shots from the tee. Would recommend a course map or a GPS with arial view. April 11, 2014
Excellent Condition AZ National was in excellent condition. Extremely scenic course also. April 9, 2014
Back from the Dead Az National was always a very nice and challenging course to play--It was top notch when it was the Raven at Sabino--and now is coming back--small things like no cups at some watering stations and broken handle on the on cart ball washer were more of a nuisance than a detriment . Its great that the course was not completely lost by the IRI Group and now it can be on the recommended play list --Good luck OB Sports April 9, 2014
Great view First time playing Arizona national and will definitely come back again. Very interesting layout real nice elevation changes, greens were real nice but found them a little slow. April 9, 2014
Wind took the wind out of my sails. I believe on a MUCH less windy day, I would have greatly enjoyed this course. Although, like many courses, it helps a ton to have local knowledge. The wind (40+ mph) made the course almost unplayable. Not the courses fault, but it sure took a lot of the fun out of it for me. I will try again , hopefully on a less windy day. The par 5's are interesting, in a good way. very scenic course, AND saw the beverage cart 3 times in our round and the cart girl was a very personable young lady. try this course on a low wind day, it's worth it. AZ National - Perfect condition This used to be one of my favorite courses. But due to bad circumstances last year or so, the course went dry. I had not played AZ Nat for about 2 years. Playing yesterday, truth be told, the course is better than any time I have played it in the last 7 years. Absolutely perfect. April 6, 2014
Wonderful course If you only had a few days to play golf in Tucson and you wanted to experience the natural surroundings of Arizona, this is the course for you. The course is well laid out along base of one of Tucson's magnificent mountain base communities. The greens are excellent and the course is in excellent condition. It is both challenging and rewarding. April 4, 2014
