Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.

Along the way, its diverse 6,776-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun!

As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Arizona National has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the University of Arizona Wildcats men`s and women`s collegiate teams. The teams will practice and play regularly at Arizona National and will also be host to all University of Arizona collegiate events.

Ammedities I have notice that the GPS has been taken out of the carts? And there use to be towels in the carts and cups of ice placed in the cup holders prior to the round not there?.Usually this coarse is 68 bucks to play? I did notice not anywhere near enough sand in the bunkers and clay underneath NOT GOOD!! PUT MORE SAND IN THE BUNKERS. A coarse with this pristine setting the staff used to wait on you hand and foot not so anymore!!!!.You need to bring that back!!!! The cart lady made one pass on a saturday. We were on the 5th hole and she said she was done for the day??? seriously?? it was a Saturday.CUSTOMER SERVICE IS everything!!.Also members should only play on the weekends,They were very noisey and a few patrons complained was not just me.One other thing SHUT THE MUSIC OFF ON THE PRACTICE TEE!!! I am here to practice not to listen to CCR.Thanks. April 7, 2015
FOR ME, A MUST PLAY MUST PLAY......Is overused a lot BUT this is a course that meets that criterior. It has a lot of forced carries from the tees, so make sure you use the correct tees we played the white tees and found it was less stressfull. Go treat yourself and you will not be dissapointed. Early Saturday The course was immaculate! 4 hr round tee'd off at 715! Played once before yrs ago. Such a great facility. A great test of golf. Greens were a touch slower than I thoughy theyd be , but there was some early dew They were true. Fantastic experience! March 30, 2015
Best of the Best While in Southern Arizonia for the last three months, we played 14 courses. Arizonia National was our favourite. Apparently the group that took over the course have been doing a lot of work to especially clear site lines. They are doing a great job and it is much appreciated. The fairways are green from tee box to green. Look for great value on golf now. Bring your camera as every hole is photographic. We also enjoyed Tubac Resort Golf Course so if you are south of Tucson give it a try. March 30, 2015
Country Club Ambiance Elegant, but not pretentious. Moderately challenging. Inviting elevation changes. Staff warm and friendly. Greens were a little shaggy when I played. Resisences come into play now and then. More water on this course than you care to acknowledge. March 30, 2015
great views Course was in very good condition. Greens were almost perfect and just the right speed.played in less than 4 hours and got out 30 minutes early. Great views of Tucson and wildlife. Blind shots from the back tee's are very difficult. Staff was very friendly and helpful. March 26, 2015
Great course This course was awesome. Fairways and greens in great shape . A Must play when in Tucson. Great scenery at almost every hole . Bring your camera. Use yardage book not every par 4 or 5 is driver off the tee. Stay below the pin if possible . March 18, 2015
Excellent Course I really enjoyed the course and the layout of it. By far some of the best views in all of Tucson. The course played extremely difficult due to extremely high winds. Would really like to play the course under more favorable conditions. Lost more balls than I care to count, but weather did play a factor. March 16, 2015
