Arizona National (formerly The Raven Golf Club at Sabino Springs) is desert golf at its finest. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the golf course meanders among the foothills of Tucson`s beautiful Santa Catalina Mountains as it follows the rugged natural flow of the land across shady mesquite-lined arroyos and skirts craggy rock outcroppings.

Along the way, its diverse 6,776-yard layout will throw enough tough decisions and classic golf-in-the-desert challenges at you to test the very limits of your ability. Yet, it has the flexibility to do so without ever becoming unfair. And, its always fun!

As compensation for the challenge, you`ll also get to enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery of any golf course in the Southwest, including panoramic mountain vistas, forests of giant saguaros, and the rare beauty of nine natural springs.

Arizona National has formed an alliance with the University of Arizona to become the home course of the University of Arizona Wildcats men`s and women`s collegiate teams. The teams will practice and play regularly at Arizona National and will also be host to all University of Arizona collegiate events.

course was good, carts were bad We had a reservation for 18, golf cart ended up breaking down on us on hole 10, number on the golf course map was not the correct phone number therefore we had to walk back to the club house .called it a day after that, awesome course and good condition and friendly employees, but carts need maintenance July 21, 2014
Great experienceI I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course for the time of year. Even though it is summer and everything is hard and dry pan, the course was in great shape and held the ball. My only negative to the course is that it really eats balls. You have to be very precise with your tee shot but it was well worth the cost I paid of 28 dollars. True target golf with some blind shots that will leave you scratching your head. July 21, 2014
Bad greens Greens were plugged and the surface was long and bumpy. The play was very slow and the back nine was closed due to green plugging, there was no discount for playing only the front nine there rates were the sam,as if the course was in full plain mode. July 17, 2014
Fun and challenging course. Great views and holes that make you choose how to best approach them. Good fun. July 13, 2014
Not back to its former glory, and not trying to This used to be an upper-tier Tucson area course. Now it's average. The greens were furry and while they rolled smooth they didn't hold shots into the green for some reason. It wasn't that I just didn't spin the ball, either; my playing partner didn't have any of his shots check like they always do. The staff is aloof, almost snotty. The girl behind the desk actually wanted to see my GolfNow print out. I said no, I don't have it and I've NEVER ever needed it, you have my info on the booking system, plus it's PREPAID. She then asked to see my confirmation email on my phone. Sheesh. I've played hundreds of times through GN and this is the first time I've been questioned like that. We went to the cart area and asked if starter was over at first tee. They said they didnt know. So we went to first tee and the group ahead of us didn't want to speak to us, they just teed off. So we played as a twosome and it took forever. Pace of play was stupidly slow for not being very busy. NO ranger. I don't know who manages this course now but they have some issues to address. The course is okay, but it's nowhere as nice as it used to be before it went belly-up. IF you can get a cheap price, play it; otherwise, save your money. July 8, 2014
great shape the course was in great shape, the staff was great and the food was very good. I understand they have a buyer in waiting and am looking forward to the new ownership keeping the course in very good shape July 7, 2014
Excellent course The course was in the best shape I've seen it in some time. It was a very pleasurable round with the course in excellent condition for the time of year. July 4, 2014
this is a good course This course has come a long way in a very short time. they have made great strides in the condition of the course. the day I played the greens were not yet mowed and they were slow, and did not not roll very good, but the rest of the course was very good, although there is a couple of tee boxes that could use some help.
