Great course and great value Course was in great shape and the staff was terrific June 22, 2015
Best coarse in Southern Arizona I played on Sunday afternoon and the coarse was in top shape, one of two problems that irked me was number one the pace of play- the three some we were behind had no intention of letting a faster group behind play through. We were waiting at least 5 minutes a hole for 18 holes adding another hour and a half to complete our round, no sign of a marshall or any greens keepers all day. Only saw the beverage cart twice on the front nine, and with 100 degree plus weather I would think that would mandatory. The other thing was the players left all kinds of ball marks all over the greens, I fixed at least 8 to 12 marks per green, as we had plenty of time to wait on the next tee box. I think it would be nice to have a marshall drive around and monitor play, as well as asking players to repair ball marks as they don't have a clue as to respecting the grounds for fellow players. First time at Tubac Wow, what a course. We had a tee time at 0700. I wouldn't go much later than than in the summer. The course was beautiful and the green were very well maintained. There was shade pretty much everywhere on the course to get out of the heat. Be advised, many looooong holes here. Played the whites and some of the par 5's went on forever. But they were laid out well and challenging. I will definitely be back. Great job guys. June 15, 2015
Great Resort Facility Played the Rancho/Anza courses. It was hot, but breeze on back nine was great. Course was in very good condition with greens rolling well but not as fast as they looked. Shots into greens were holding. Tee boxes and fairways were in very good condition. Pace of play was excellent as we got out before large number of hotel guests teed off. Restaurant food and drink were excellent. Great facility for golf and all that a quality resort offers. June 14, 2015
Average older Southwrn Arizona course Average older municipal type course about an hour south of Tucson. Not worth the drive since there are better courses closer to Tucson for the same green fee fate. The movie Tin Cup was shot there. June 8, 2015
High end resort facility No corners cut on these links. Excellent maintenance is obvious and a crew is ever present. Turf is long enough with little to no bounce when hitting down on irons. Bunkers are filled with local sand, but have been screened when filled. The staff is friendly and helpful. Views of the mountains are spectacular and there is stock roaming about in non-playable areas. This is a great experience for any level golfer. June 2, 2015
Beautiful-lots of trees Some long holes, one was 650 yd from the tips/gold (I played from the blues). Some long challenging par 4's over 400 yd. Tree-lined fairways, and some elevation changes keep it interesting. Hole called "Train Wreck" accurately named. Super friendly staff, can't wait to go back. May 27, 2015
Favorite course The layout is challenging and fun! We got here early and had breakfast in Stables. Great value and delicious! Steve in the pro shop was a delight, very informative and helpful. We recently moved to the area and will definitely play here often. We also enjoyed Sarri very much. What a hoot! Can't wait to go back. May 25, 2015
