Very Accommodating We originally booked for the 15th but they allowed us to change our tee time to the 16th due to weather conditions. We appreciated that. I played from the Blue tees. The Anza 9 was approximately 3000 yards but the Rancho course was almost 3400. That made it a bit challenging in that there were a number of long par 4's and 5's as well as a 230 yard par 3. If I had to do it over I would have played the combo tees on the Rancho course. We have played the course a number of times and will continue to do so. May 17, 2015
Sb for me What a fun course, no wonder they made the movie here. Get a group of your best golf buddies, make an obligatory stop at the ATM, pack some extra cigars and have at it. Double the bets on the "Tin Cup" hole and enjoy you round. But wait... there's more, after #4 on the Rancho you will hit the Tubac Triangle which will really test your game, moxie and those side bets especially if the afternoon winds are blowing. The course is in a riparian area as you will need to carry the Santa Cruz river on at least two holes. Watch for those tucked pins too! I would recommend trying to play all 3 nines with a break for lunch as you will get more of the ambiance and enjoy a very relaxed southwestern resort setting. Yes, I did hit it stiff to 3 ft. on the Tin Cup hole. Give that man a cigar! May 10, 2015
Beautiful course to play. The course was well groomed and the greens were In great shape. The folks who ran the business were Very pleasant. May 9, 2015
My favorite course I love this course. It's not like a southern Arizona course....it's more like Texas hill-country. Love the river bottom grassy feel with large cottonwoods about. Horses came out on the 8th fairway when we played through. Charming! April 23, 2015
A gem in southern Arizona! Best conditions of any course in the area. From tee boxes being even and well maintained, fairways have nice grass that is cut to perfect length, sand traps are consistent with plenty of sand in them and the greens run fast but true and are impeccable. Staff is very accommodating. April 23, 2015
Great course Course was in excellent condition; pace of play was good as course was wide open; value for the time of day we played was excellent compared to to comparable courses; course was challenging for our threesome.; staff was helpful and friendly. 2nd rough was brutal. It was a good day and look forward to playing Tubac again. April 22, 2015
nice setting course was great, pace of play was VERY, VERY SLOW. No ranger insight and an almost 5 hour round... April 20, 2015
greatcourse Best condition I've ever seen it. Plays great. Lots of fun April 17, 2015
