Fun and interesting course layout
I found this course to be challenging and fun to play. There are a variety of features to challenge anyone's skills. You do not have to have a long game to do well here, golfers that enjoy using a variety of clubs will definitely enjoy play here. The only criticism I'd have are that the bunkers could use fresh sand.
I am looking forward to our next round.

weather was good, course in spring condition, enjoyable day
Traditions is one of my wifes favorite courses, the course is generally well maintaned and the staff always helpful.

Very short course from any tees.
Course is very easy, especially from the white tees. Few sand traps or water hazards. Greens do have some slope and require good putting skills. Greens were in excellent condition when I played. Seems they always stuff the course with golfers as it took us almost 5 hours to play a very short course. We waited on nearly every hole and one of the golfers in our group prob shot 130. Thank goodness she was with us or waits would have been much longer on tee boxes.

This course was fun to play, length from the whites very manageable for the average golfer!
Being from out of town the staff made you feel like a regular! Friendly and very helpful, the course was in great shape, very nice fairways and large receptive greens, it runs thru the residential area but, it's not a distraction it's a nice feeling. With any luck they don't come into play at all! (The houses) the availability to go on line and select tee times and sign up is a plus!

Nice day in the sunshine!
Enjoyed our round at Traditions. The Pro Shop and Starter folks were all very kind and pleasant... happy that we were playing on their course.
The course itself is very well maintained. The greens were a little bumpy, but certainly fair and clipped nicely.
The fairways were lush and wonderful to hit out of.
The rough was a little on the burned out side, but playable and not out of the ordinary for this time of year in AZ.
Playing pace was not quick, but, I think that was just the foursome we were with.
Generally, and enjoyable round.

good.
A lot of hackers out there and balls landing on your fairway that you were shooting from. They would come on your fairway and make their shoots without warning.

Great variety
The course has wonderful character with ample dog legs, both right and left, to challenge all types of players.
A welcome change from so many humdrum layouts.
Scenic and the trees are a nice change.
Good variety in tee boxes.
Will definitely play again.

arizona traditions
Almost quit at three, quite slow and greens were in bad condition, but the rest of the greens were pretty good, and the pace picked up on the back. It appeared several groups quit in front and behind. The staff were very good. May try again next month.

This course is more concerned with making money than providing a good course.
Not enough people at front desk - long line to check in, greens in bad shape for this time of year, rough is left too high- lose balls. Play is way too slow, no rangers seen on course.

Course is in good shape and greens are in good shape as well. I would recommend for the price.

The course is good, but the management is not.
The pace of play was ridiculous. A round should not take over 5 hours. There were no marshalls to try and speed up play. On one hole there were SEVEN carts waiting to tee off.

Fun Course
Its a great corse to go and get your confidence up and in great condition. Its a great bang for your buck. Greens are in great condition as well as the fairways. The only thing was the cart server was a little rude to me being a young guy.

Nothing great save your money.
Driving range is a desert. They don't water, couldn't find any turf to hit ball off of. Had to walk out to the driving range, no big deal. Golf cart didn't make it 9 holes had to walk in and get another cart. Staff didn't seem like they cared, never even said sorry, that would have done if for me. Course is not in good shape, fairways are like pavement and this is in Feb. prime time. Better courses to golf for the money. 1 out of a 10. Cart girl was friendly and beer was cold.

Greens need a little work.
The course was in overall good shape. The greens were hard dry and fast. The holes looked old, like the hadn't been changed freshly for the days play. Overall the greens were in acceptable shape.

Nice course for area and price
The grass is the best feature. Eventho they are suffering from lack of rain the grass in the fairways is higher than most desert courses, similar to northern courses. You not hitting you ball off the ground. Greens are true and reasonable fast.

Course in great shape other than greens.
Play was slow because of tournament players. Greens really need work very inconsistent and bumpy. Staff very friendly. Great food.

had a great time corse was fun to play weather was great
the greens were a little slow but fun to putt on the air was clean and crisp enjoyed seeing the white tank mountains. played with my wife in about 4 hours . their was no waiting on tees. overall had a great time.

An enjoyable day!
We enjoyed our round. The staff was helpful and friendly and the course was in great condition. We will play here again. It was an excellent value.

Greens are in very good condition.
Had friends visiting so I took them to my favorite course. Playing conditions are good and the greens are in great shape.

Great for mid-high handicap
With a 24 handicap, I shot a 90 and 91 on consecutive days... so it must be an easy course (as shown by slope/rating). Living in the snowy, frozen north, it is a pleasant and fun course that is a good value to play in mid-winter. Conditions were very good and pace of play was OK. Both days, we followed groups that had no business off the copper tees, but insisted on playing from the tips. Still... for the price, the course is tough to beat.

nice flow for a short course
Good course with a light rain. Its under 6000 yards from backs. Low scores are here.

Very nice views and different hole layouts, fun!
Was a little pricey for a par 70, some short par 4's but that is to be expected. Staff and fairways were great! Greens were a little rough, patchy and bumpy, more work needs to be focused here. All and all, had a great time and the course had some great dog-legs and challenging greens, not just because of the rough terrain.

This place needs help.
The greens are in terrible condition. I play here a half dozen times a year and have always hated the greens but they are now worse than they have ever been. Too bad because the layout has potential.

Good playability, not too difficult, not too easy.
Nice layout in very good shape through the green. Room for improvement on the greens however.

In Need Of Work
Greens on this course in distressed state. Not sure if frost kill is the problem or just poor results from overseeding. Played this course many times in previous years and it would appear that current management is letting a lot of things deteriorate. all in all a very disappointing golf outing...
