poor conditions make this a poor value Everything needs help. Greens were rough with bare spots. Fairways had bare patches everywhere. Bunkers weren't really sand, just dirt. I thought a Country Club that charges more than other lower fee courses would be in better shape. Not so. Very poor value for the money. February 11, 2015
Bad experience Greens were poor with many bare spots and full of bumps. Fairways had many spots with no grass from poor quality overseeding. Worst I have ever seen this in 10 years of winter golf in Arizona. Sand bunkers were inconsistant. Small bucket of range balls was $5 and use to be free. This course use to be a good course but is not worth the money this year. Doubt if these greens and fairways will come back! February 6, 2015
Very good layout Fun course to play....course conditions were not the best. Lots of bare spots on fairways and greens. Members I was playing with blamed all the rain they have had. February 6, 2015
Nice layout, friendly staff We booked here last minute when we couldn't get in anywhere else at a time we wanted. The course is in poor condition with bare spots all over the place. The greens were as lumpy and slow as any I have played. Apparently they over seeded early and the rains washed most of the seed away, at least that was the explanation given us by the couple we played with. February 3, 2015
Tight lies Is a good course, but needs to get some thicker grass on the fairways. February 1, 2015
Rainy day I have played Sun City Country Club in the summer. This was the first time in the winter. Fairways were chopped up and since it had rained earlier in the day, they were also muddy. The greens were inconsistant and also muddy in some areas. If is has rained heavily prior to your round, watch out for flooding on 103rd Avenue, which splits the front nine. Water flows down a ditch in the middle of the road and the water might flow right over your cart, if you try to cross the road. I played as a single and completed my round in 2:30, which was the best thing about playing here this time. I think the weather had something to do with it, because the course was basically empty in front of me. January 15, 2015
entire course[fairways/tees/greens] have a long way to go. Very spotty conditions throughout. Overseeding taking a very long time to take effect. Tee boxes quite shabby condition. Greens very spotty and full of thin portions; very difficult to putt..Bunkers very hard .... January 12, 2015
Greens need work. There was no Marshall on the course it was very slow to start. The greens are terrible....lots of brown patches. January 12, 2015
