Named one of the “Top 10 Public Golf Courses in Arizona” by Golf Digest, the magnificent par-71, 7,216- yard Stadium Course was designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf expressly to serve as the stage for the PGA TOUR’s legendary Waste Management Phoenix Open – the largest spectator golf event in the world.

During the 51 weeks of the year when fans are not witnessing history-making moments by the world’s best golfers in “The Greatest Show on Grass,” they can test their own skills on the same pristine fairways, maintained to PGA TOUR-quality standards year-round. Lauded for its outstanding environmental stewardship, the Stadium Course was the first golf course in Arizona to be designated an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary System.

This is the TPC Scottsdale - Stadium Course Anyone who watches the PGA Tour knows TPC Scottsdale - Stadium. It's the real deal, and if you're up to it you're welcome to play the tips. They had just overseeded (cart paths only), and they were erecting the bleechers on #16 - but it's always a Great course; Great Staff; and an Excellent time. Try and play it at least once a year and see if you can improve. November 3, 2012
Great course, OK value I've played TPC for years - mostly the "Champions" course, before it was the "Champions". The difference is night and day, they've done a great job with the course, and continue to make improvements. Some of the bunkering is pretty aweome. The greens are in great shape (April) and would be better if everyone fixed their pitch marks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The greens fees seem a little high to me, I think you can do better for the money, but it's a fun track. The Hot dog is gone! They used to have the best grilled Hot Dog in down. That's gone, replaced by something similar to every other golf course. Used to be our treat at the end of a round. April 6, 2013
Fun & challenging While the actual pace of play was not bad, we spent a lot of time waiting both on the tees and in the fairways. Other than that annoyance, it was a nice course with plenty of challenge. Greens were plenty fast and true but apparently no one fixes ball marks. Would definitely play again. April 3, 2013
compares very favorably to the TPC stadium Most of the staff agreed that the TPC champions course was at least as difficult, if not more difficult. At $99 vs. $299, the Champions course was a great deal. The course is maintained by the same staff and was in excellent shape. Greens were challenging but fair. April 1, 2013
Great 1 time experience. Bit the bullet and played a round at the Stadium. Shop and bag staff were good. Was a little disappointed to have to show my "ticket" from the shop to the starter like I was at my local muni. Really there isn't a better way to monitor this at a $200+ course? Was given a small bag of balls - would expect to see pyramids on the range at a facility like this. Starter was nice, but gave the speech about taking extra clubs, etc... like this is the first time I have ever been on a course. Again - not at a facility like this. Forecaddie - Brenndan - amazing, kept us at pace knows the course, told stories of history, etc... great way to enjoy the experience and really made the day an event. March 29, 2013
Great condition with good golf values for all player levels. Very lady friendly. Good marshalling, together with a course where playing is a challenge and pleasure. March 27, 2013
Beautiful course but not worth the money they charge to play We loved the course and would play again, but it is not worth the fees charged. Luckily we did not have to pay those this time to play. It is a course that you need to play twice to get the feel of it. The staff were very friendly and the course in great condition. However, we have played other courses that we like better for reasonable fees. We thought the Champions course was more challenging than the Stadium course. March 27, 2013
Course was in great condition. Would play again and recommend this course to all my friends. March 26, 2013
Average In a nutshell, not worth it. Had a nice time, and I'm glad I played it once, but I will never play it again for anywhere close to that kind of money. The caddie was nice, but I think the only reason they give you a caddie was to keep up the pace of play so they could get more rounds in (revenue). Kind of felt like a meat grinder atmosphere. March 25, 2013
Great course but took forever to play We had to wait everyhole. They allow people to go and jump on and play holes that are open. People just jump in front of you and it takes forever. I called during the play and was told this is TPC we allow people to jump around. March 19, 2013
Fun but expensive Second time playing TPC Scottsdale, I would say the first time was more fun and memorable, second time just seemed okay. Our caddy was helpful and made the round enjoyable. It seemed to be over priced, while it's fun playing a course the pro's play, there are other courses that are way better for much less money. March 12, 2013
You feel like a pro from the first tee. The staff was great, there was not one hole that was not groom to profection. March 6, 2013
Would like to see the pace of play no more than 4.5hrs The course is good shape considering the amount of play it gets. The pace is usually good and the price is reasonable for the caliber of the course. March 6, 2013
Great Location/Views Undone by Poor Quality of Carts and Start/Play Delays Pro Shop staff were excellent. But... Tee time was delayed nearly 30 minutes and the only apparent reason given was "availability of carts." The carts finally provided were of poor quality, one had significant brake issue that was simply shrugged off by staff and starter. Due to significant dealy in start, we did not finish the round as the last 3 holes were stacked up 2-3 deep on the tees. My prior experiences with this course were all favorable - this one was a disaster with new guests questioning the venue. Something has now gone wrong with this location - March 5, 2013
The Stadium Course was in excellent condition even tho they had equipment dismantling the stands. The Stadium Course rates right at the top of professional courses. Tyler, our forecaddy gave us good advise on shot placement and targets. Wide fairways and great greens. Would definitely play again. February 27, 2013
Not worth it For a $360 golf outing after green fees and caddy tip, you can find much better courses to play and for $100 less. I've played courses in Maui and California for about $170 less that were a much more memorable experience and had more spectacular scenery. The greens were mowed nearly bald so that you could see dirt and the ball was sailing off every one unless you happen to hit your highest degree lob wedge in front of the pin. Fairways and tee boxes were well maintained, but that's expected for a pro course. They were taking down the bleachers in the middle of the day on Hole 16, so getting a decent photo was a strategic endeavor. Unless I just missed them, the only bathrooms on the course itself were portables that hadn't been emptied in a while. If your goal is taking in a pro experience and history, go play Torrey Pines, Pebble Beach or just about any pro course in Hawaii. I'm sure there are other courses in Arizona that are just as good without the price tag. Caddy was average, and I could have bought a distance scope for the tip I paid, which was pretty much all that he helped with anyway other than the few times he was able to successfully point out where my ball went. The greens even baffled him since he guessed those wrong too. February 25, 2013
Great experience well worth the price The staff was knowledgable and did an outstanding job and my caddie was a big help and very nice and easy to get along with February 23, 2013
This course is a dream come true I had the best golf experience I had was here at the TPC stadium. The views were spectacular including the rabbits and cacti. The 3 other people I played with made it wonderful. I would definitely come back and play again. The weather was great and I even holed out from the bunker. February 22, 2013
Playing the 16th.; Wicked!! Thru Rain,Sleet & Snow we got 15 holes in. Fortunately, we teed off Back 9 1st. so able to play 16th.Using Fore Caddy was positive as Scott was a big help & kept play moving. Staff very professional & friendly. Wife did comment that Pro Shop was very Male driven & Women`s section understated. February 21, 2013
Amazing course, weather and conditions. It was amazing but remember I visit the course two to three weeks after the Phoenix Open and it was end of February. Will play it again. Awesome... February 20, 2013
Fantastic condition great course Great experience loved every minute of it will definitely play again February 20, 2013
Excellent Course Course was in great condition....My son and I had a great time, we teed up with another single from Fort Worth and the company, the weather and the course couldn't be better. #15 & #16 were my favorite holes. February 19, 2013
Expensive, but worth playing at least once. Challenging course. Pricey, but fun to play at least once, especially the back nine. February 19, 2013
LOVE IT! For the price you couldn't beat it compared to the Stadium course! We had a 9:22 tee-time and got done in 4 hours. NICE! Fairways where amazing. February 18, 2013
The course was nice but definitely not like the Stadium Course. The greens had a lot of ball marks on them and there were a lot of divots all over the course. It appeared that it is played a lot. February 17, 2013
Good time! Course in great shape, play a little slow. Very enjoyable! February 16, 2013
Nice and playable While I can't think of many negatives, there is nothing that jumps out as a "WOW" here either. The layout is very fair, staff very friendly, and conditions good. Didn't think much of the airplanes overhead and its a bit tighter then I think it should be, as it is really not the course that will be the challenge choice for a 5 handicapper or a true destination type. That said a nice way to spend an afternoon and had a great time. February 15, 2013
Must play The staff is great, but the course is beautiful and if you think it's easy we'll your in for a disappoint, ent. Narrow and challenging. The greens make you play defensive. Fast but true make sure you see the break ( there is a break trust me) going to go play again soon. February 15, 2013
A great layout If you decide to try this course be prepared for a 4hr plus round. Many players are slow and waiting to play your shot seems common. I would recommend playing with friends. At least one friend. I was a single and was paired with 2 below average golfers and looked for lost golf balls all round. The course was beautiful and the greens were smooth and fast. The views were also enjoyable. The staff was friendly. The practice area was very good. Finally, If they put you with golfers who are below average then it detracts from the experience. It also makes the cost to play seem high. Overall I was happy to be at this course and experence the TPC Scottsdale. February 14, 2013
Played after Waste Menagement Played course Wednesday after Waste Management tournament. Scoreboards, TV tower and stands were still up. Playing 16 with stands was awesome! Put tee shot 15 feet right of pin. Without Tournament remnants, Stadium course would be okay but very expensive. (Requires fore caddy.) Champions course is a very good deal, much less expensive and much lower key. Courses are in the middle of Scottsdale so really scenic. February 12, 2013
