Phoenician Resort Golf Course 4.4 5 397 397
Green and Plush This course was beautiful. The Canyon 9 was outstanding. One of the nicest I have ever played. The Desert 9 was a little tricky but still nice. Staff was very polite and helpful. Price on Golf Now was fantastic. If I lived in the valley I would play this course often. September 16, 2014
Worth Checking Out Decent course in the Scottsdale area, the Canyon nine was nice with number nine being one of the hardest par 5's I have played in a while. The Desert nine gets a little wacky almost amusement park like on holes 5, 6, 7, 8. I wasn't a fan of the way those holes were laid out. Impossible course to walk, and the course is not marked well in the fairways particularly. Overall though definitely a course worth checking out if you have some downtime. September 14, 2014
great day we played this course a few days after the wettest day that Phoenix has experienced, with flooding all over the area. The Canyon course was in excellent shape while the Desert Course still needed some attention but very playable. the course offers views of the city that is fantastic. a very enjoyable day and would recommend highly the course September 11, 2014
Very nice course, a must play Course very nice tee to green and the greens were very nice also. Everything was excellent except it was very hot and there was very little water on the course. September 3, 2014
Greens in Great Shape You think to course is short from the scorecard. But it plays a lot longer. Great greens and fairway in good shape for the summer. Wonderful views. Friendly cart girl. August 18, 2014
Respectable for Mid-summer Tee to green in Very good shape. Rough had a few bare areas. Greens had a few bare spots, especially on holes in mountain areas. Greens a bit bumpy but very playable. Great scenery and views on mountain holes. August 13, 2014
Nice course Nice course beautiful resort. Beers are way over priced but overall good experience. Friendly staff pretty solid pace of play and convenient location. Desert and canyon are my person favorites but oasis is a nice 9 holes as well. Course is always in excellent condition, greens were rolling perfectly, free range balls which should be expected at courses of this caliber but sometimes aren't included. Cart girls are always friendly and did mention a beer special which saved us quite a bit compared to their normal pricing. A must play if trying to stay in Scottsdale or Phoenix and want to be close to attractions and bars/restaurants. August 13, 2014
Good value It's a resort course that plays pretty soft but it's good also. A yardage book would be an advantage as some of the desert 9 is unsighted from the tees August 12, 2014
