nice resort experience Well kept short resort golf experience. Greens were holding and nice to putt. Little worn teeing areas and range in a few places but overall good with some great views. Play early to get a good pace of play. April 10, 2014
Awsome Great course. Always a favorite. Pace of play very slow. Ranger didn't seem to move anyone along. April 9, 2014
A new favorite Beautiful course with tight holes , incredible views, impeccable landscaping. The greens and tee boxes were in very nice shape and we moved through in 3 1/2 hours. April 8, 2014
Great golf on Camelback Great desert-style course with great views of the valley. I'll definitely be back. April 7, 2014
Crowded A very nice course with way too many people stuffed on so play very slow. April 6, 2014
A mini-Troon course My wife and I played this for the first time. We've played more than 30 courses in the Valley during our vacations from Iowa. This course was maintained in typically good to very good Troon condition. But, the tight, short layout was a bit too tricked out. Pace of play was very slow, and there was no marshal in siight. My wife wants to play it again. I'd rather play courses like Troon North and Whirlwind than this. April 6, 2014
First class all the way Hi gang, I chose The Phoenician to play an upscale resort course. I'm glad I did. I got a $107+ green fee from GolfNow and was impressed starting in the parking lot. An attendant took my clubs immediately to a cart. Checking was fast and appreciative (always a plus) and outside starter directed me to the driving range. 15 mins prior to my scheduled tee time I checked with the starter and he asked if I minded playing solo. Not a problem so I followed a twosome and wiled away enjoying the serenity and golf course in general. The first nine (Desert) offers great challenge and spacious views of the valley. On the Canyon course, I follow a coupla groups but was in no hurry for the same reason. Again, interesting challenges and more views. Upon finishing, there was the offer to clean my clubs, they inquired about my day's activity and asked if I had a good time. I'm not real crazyabout playing three 9-hole courses, but the care and attention The Phoenecian has to offer makes me glad I chose to play here. Play well, Rich April 5, 2014
Gorgeous Flowers and not bad golf Challenging but it played very slow....let plenty of time to take pictures though April 3, 2014
