McCormick Ranch Golf Club
Greens are growing in but still bumpy. Very slow round considering only a few golfers on the course but I suppose you can chalk that up to no one willing to let the faster players through.....

Better than NOT playing but....
Reading the reviews and can only give it two stars. Any higher would have to be from someone who doesn't play much golf. This is a mediocre layout with only fair course conditions. Bumpy greens, browned out fairway sections, and Muni type service. One exception is the refurbished bunkers.
Best point is the location. This course would starve if it was anywhere else but central Scottsdale.

Like this track and will come back
Have played MR Pine Course a few times and always have a good time, greens ran true, fairways in great shape and real sand in most bunkers. Long par 3's seem to get me here and the water on #3. Free range balls are always a nice touch also.

A wonderful neighborhood course. Winter brings an even better experience.

A Nice Experience
The Palms course at McCormick ranch offers a challenging but fair experience... First, their are TREES that get in the way, a bit unusual for most of the valley courses. Secondly, WATER also comes into play on many holes and, at times you must take a close look as the water creeps across the fairway to intercept your shots from the fairway.
The course was in pretty good shape for summer golf with the greens being excellent and running true. Overall, the course offers some scenic views of Camelback mountain and is a good value for your money.

Plenty of Trees. For the money one of the best courses for the money.

A few memorable holes
Most of the holes blend together with few distinguishing features. Only a couple of memorable holes.
