The Palm Course features ten water holes and, as its name suggests, showcases many large palm trees. Both courses were designed by renowned golf course architect Desmond Muirhead and opened in 1972. The very popular Palm and Pine have both recently been renovated with outstanding new greens, sand traps and bridges.

Great Public Course Besides from the full schedule and the pace never improving to a Sunday morning round of 4.5+ hours, it was a good time. Course is in great shape, excellent practice facilities and the cart girl came by at least four times. Will play again. June 29, 2015
summer golf in AZ McCormick Ranch is my "go-to" course in summer. The Bermuda fairways and greens are always in top shape. The pros and staff are a great bunch of guys and very easy going. With 36 holes to play, there is lots of variety. Great course at bargain-summer rates! June 22, 2015
Always in Good Shape Course was in great shape nothing to complain about overall great round of golf. June 19, 2015
Pace extremely slow I played the Palm course for the first time after it rained overnight. The fairways on many holes were completely under water and they would not give anyone their money back or a raincheck. I was paired up with other nice people and the pace was extremely slow throughout the entire round. I thought maybe the back 9 would be better but it was even worse. There were 3-4 groups backed up at every tee and no ranger in site. I had to call the pro shop from my mobile and ask them to send a ranger. He came out pronto and found out who was holding everyone up but did nothing to help. this course has been slow play every time I play it. Will probably not come back until they do something about it. June 18, 2015
Clueless!! Once again...a bad experience at McCormick Ranch. We booked our round on the Pine Course however when it was our time to tee off...the Ranger came over and said there were 3 more groups that needed to play through as they were part of a tournament. He said we could go play the Palm instead as it was "wide open" Well that wasn't the case...The groups ahead of us apparently like to play 4.5 hour rounds in the 106 degree temps...Where was the Ranger then to speed things up? No where to be found. Thats 3 bad experiences in a row out there. Seems to be a trend! June 15, 2015
Great course for the money This was a great course in the heart of Scottsdale, a bit challenging for an intermediate player, but was definitely worth the experience. I would recommend this course to anyone who is up for a challenge. I enjoyed playing this course and will play the sister course next. June 15, 2015
Rough Overgrown Fairways and Greens in good shape, Rough was overgrown making the course tougher than normal June 15, 2015
The Pine Course was in great condition. Everything was great besides $5 a beer. June 13, 2015
