Legend Trail Golf Club
For a hundred bucks, I expect more than half an inch of damp sand in the traps, especially if said trap has a six foot lip on it and a similar trap on the opposite side of a narrow green. Otherwise, it's lovely.

No prior cart path only notice
After reseeding, I can certainly understand the cart path only rule. On the other hand, prior notice on the website is absolutely necessary. (Also, when we called the proshop, there was no mention of the rule.At that time, we could have gone elsewhere.)As a person with a severe foot and ankle condition, prior notice is important. While the proshop offered money back when we got there, it was too late in the day to go else where. In short, I cannot be convinced that the few players who would require a handicapped flag would damage the course at all.
Further, the nitpicking relative to taking the cart to my handicapped parking space, approximately 25 feet away from the cart drop off, is incredible. It should be noted that it was not a busy day for the course.
There were apologies regarding the situation, the absolute "follow the rules" to the letter mentality is absurd.

Some of the forced carries are pretty extreme. Not for the beginning golfer. Excellent condition!

Course has lots of Character
Wonderful Condition, some blind tee shots, if not in fairway you can find yourself in trouble. Overall experience was excellant.

Though a bit of a drive to get to, it was a pleasure to find a course that was both a wonderful golf experience and in pristine shape. This is saying a lot about a golf course at the height of the Arizona summer heat. The holes all present a fair challenge, but wayward drives will punish. Almost all of the holes require a good drive to navigate the remainder of the hole successfully. As a result, if you hit something short, you are having to use a long club to get back into position. Anything hit off line, will almost certainly result in a lost ball into desert terrain. If you hit a solid drive, however, it is usually a short iron to place you on the green in regulation. It truly was an exceptional course to play.
