Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 400 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Grand time Arizona Grand is picturesque both on the course and the surrounding area. The course was in excellent shape. It has some very fun holes and can be easy to play if you plan your shots well. August 11, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Challenging course, different play style compared to other courses. I was disappointed with the amount of cart only holes and there were not many distance markers out on the course for approach shots, which was extra inconvenient because the play style was geared more towards target golf. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value I got a cheap deal online and played two days in a row including once on the weekend for $15. The greens weren't in fantastic shape but we're still pretty good considering the warm summer heat. The views on this course are like no other I have played in the area. They are incredible. The course itself is a fun course or at least it was for me. I used almost every club in my bag. There were straight forward holes and some very strategic holes. A few blind shots and a ton of massive elevation changes. I have played numerous courses in the area and I can simply say this course is one I recommend for the price at this time of year. It could be a lot of fun for all types of golfers. There are no coolers on the cart but water every three holes. Stay hydrated! August 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value for a good course When green fees are as low as they were, I can see why the course was so busy, even in the middle of Arizona summer. I prefer to play fast, which wasn't possible due to the heavy volume of golfers, but other than that (4-hour round for a single), it was a good outing. The greens and fairways were in good condition for this time of year and allow golfers to enjoy this short but interesting layout. The back 9 is especially challenging with several forced carries and lots of desert to contend with. There are several par 4 tees where I used something other than my driver. The highlight is the par 3 18th tees that feature what may be the best view in the valley. August 2, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bring your own way to find yardage I hit a nice tee shot off #1 a little right of target but ended up just right of center (fairways were roped off) so I grabbed 8, 9, and P and walked to my ball. The next 3+ min I walked everywhere imaginable looking for yardage with no luck. it looked like a full Pwedge and I put a ok swing on it and ended up about 20 feet right just short of pin high. On my drive to #2 I saw in the cart you are supposed to download the azgrandgc app. for gps. I think this is a cool extra but you should have some kind of traditional yardage on the course 100 150 200 at the very least. They however have 0 yardage markers on the course. So having no option I downloaded the app. The app. seemed to work well except for 1 huge problem the yardages were wayyyy off, or I all of a sudden have 40 yards of variable in my clubs. The next couple of holes I trusted the yardage on the app. #2 it said I had 141 to front. It was a little up hill but nothing crazy, however it looked more like 170 minimum but I grabbed my 6 thinking if it is only 141 I will end up on the back of the green or maybe just over. It wasn't 141 because I hit as good as a 6 I can hit only to come up short. I am not one of those golfers in denial that thinks he hits his clubs 10 to 20 yards further than actual reality. Now even with an uphill of 10 yards a slight breeze into my face that would give me 156 to the front max. I was a full 15 yards short. This continued on just about every hole with yardage being off a good 20+ yards sometimes on the short side sometimes on the long side. I was so annoyed by hole eight I just left. Golf is hard enough with accurate yardage. I would of rather had no yardage than the wrong yardage July 30, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Not a driving range. They don't start you at your reserved tee time. Never going back. July 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Had a Great day and Improved on First Outing I would recommend this course to any current resident or visitors. July 26, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by GREAT LAYOUT THE COURSE IS A BEAUTIFUL SETUP AS ITS PART OF THE RESORT. WAS HARD TO FIND THE GOLF COURSE FROM ENTERING THE PROPERTY; NOT WELL SIGNED. HAD TO GO THROUGH THE MAIN LOBBY TO GET BACK TO THE PRO SHOP. NOT AN ISSUE AFTER THE FIRST TIME. THE COURSE WAS A BIT ROUGH AS MANY BROWNED OUT AREAS-BUT WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER. THEY WE WATERING THROUGHOUT THE DAY TRYING TO EVEN THINGS OUT BUT THAT ONLY ADDS TO THE WET PLAY AND HIGHER HUMIDITY LEVELS MAKING PLAY MORE UNCOMFORTABLE. OVERALL FOR 20.00 IT WAS STILL A GOOD DAY ON THE COURSE. WE WILL BE BACK-IT WILL LOOK GREAT WHEN ALL THE GRASS GETS BACK INTO CONSISTENCY. July 25, 2015
