It was a perfect day in Tucson to play golf, high in the low 80s and calm wind (at least the front 9). The course is in very good shape, the two guys we played with were very nice and the pace of play was good. We had a great time. The staff was ok but only the marshal seemed happy we were playing. It was a fun layout with views for miles. It wasn't too much of a desert course but had some holes with some "target" type golf. The week before we cancelled as we got close and the wind was too much. I understand it is very windy out there (almost to Oracle, AZ). The back nine we had a little wind but nothing like the week before. We will play there again. It's worth the drive.

We arrived to a construction zone with very little guidance on what to do. The course is not in Greta shape, and not terribly hard except the tricky forced carry holes on 10 thru 13. Based on the price, expected more. Would not come back.

I haven't played the course in several years but it was in great shape from tee to green. The greens ran smooth, no bumps.

A good challenge
Really good layout and holes 10 & 11 have gullies across the fairway so beware.
greens were very fast but fair.Play the correct tees and you can have a great day.

Best kept secret
Saddle Brooke Ranch is one of Tucson's best kept secret courses to play. It is a little ways to get to but it will be worth the trip.Course is challenging but not too overwhelming for average golfer or beginner. This was my seventh round playing this course and it is always in Super condition. Pace of play was excellent as I mentioned not a whole lot of other golfers either don't know or are not willing to drive a little bit to experience this Great Track.I'll be back for sure!

The day we played the wind was very strong. (blow your ball off the tee and move it on the green) With that said, the play was still very enjoyable. Greens were very hard, SM10 but didn't hold true-could have been a wind factor. The traps were also firm.

Enjoyed the weather and the day
two of the rangers need to review situation before accusations made--
one day pace of play slow and waited patiently at every hole when ranger came up to the women in the foursome and told them to hurry up when there was no where to go
another approached our foursome and nastily said no more than two carts per four riders or on the same fairway at once when the problem was the computer system so one twosome wasn't paired up when checking in
these fellows were old retireds but so am I and I wouldn't practice their actions if I worked on a golf course
This wouldn't dissuade me from playing there because we made our point clear and at least one apologized. The other shouldn't be working in a service job.

Keeps getting better with age
Have been playing this course since it opened. But the way it has matured good turf base etc. The best condition I have seen, greens all roll the same, totally course in pristine condition, hats off to green super.
Windy day, 10am Tee-time finished at 13:15 :-) Pace of play here is usually under 4:15 hours most days.
If in the area think you will enjoy the ride around this track :-)
