The Longbow Golf Club was unveiled in the fall of 2003. Following a complete redesign with the addition of a striking new clubhouse, expanded acreage and totally revamped practice facility, Longbow, more than ever is a “must-play.”

The re-design improves upon perfection by lengthening the total yardage to 7,003 from the back tees, expanding the fairways and boosting par to 71. The intrigue and shot-making choices that players will face are infinite. The distinctive new Arizona contemporary clubhouse is a one-of-a-kind structure that offers every amenity, including a spacious outdoor event patio with fans, heaters, misters, outdoor kitchen and bar, enormous patio fireplace, convenient drive-up snack shop, cozy restaurant, and well-appointed golf shop.

This course was in great shape I played twilight golf at 3:00 and finished 17 holes in 4 hours, so good pace of play and the course was in great shape. March 22, 2013
Well taken care of fairways and greens were in excellent condition. My only concern is that the sand traps needed more attention. The overall course was in excellent condition. Enjoyed the day very much and will return to play this course again. March 20, 2013
Nice Course Had fun i would play it again somewhat pricey . Needs to have a faster pace of play unless you are a 5 handycap or less people need to play the white tees. March 19, 2013
nice course, very good condition. the pace of play was the only down side. I teed off at 3:15 but was unable to complete my round. I played as a single and was unable to complete a full round of golf in 5 hrs the course was nice and in great shape. March 15, 2013
Very nice track The course was very good had frost delay 1hr but very slow play even with frost delay no reason to be 5 hrs March 3, 2013
Nice Course and good greens Longbow is a very nice course. I played it on Monday before the Symetra Tour arrived. Course was in great condition,, just don't miss the fairways or you'll end up having to buff out the chip marks on your irons after the round. But that's typical of Arizona golf. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was the Course Ranger warned my group that we were behind pace, without any warning, and was rude about it. If we were actually behind and cause delays, I wouldn't mind, but the fact was we were right on schedule. The group in front of us had no one in front of them and they took off. Bottom line was we finished our round in 3 hours and 58 minutes, well ahead of schedule. I'd play this course again, but I wouldn't spend over $100 for it. February 20, 2013
Not worth the $90.00 The course is in generally good condition, but the sand was inconsistent - some traps very sparse sand. There was a frost delay the day I played and there was some disorganization regarding starting the round. The player that joined our group was not advised of the frost delay until he drove up to #1 tee. On top of the high green fees they charge $10 for large bag of range balls. Try Ocotillo, The Legacy or Raven @ Verrado for much better value. I'd rather play Palm Valley twice and have $ left over. February 17, 2013
Very fun desert course I really enjoy almost everything about this course. The facilities are beautiful. Nice driving range, putting green, and chipping area to warm up. The course had a nice desert layout- wide fairways with plenty of bunkers, and some hard packed sand/desert waste areas adjascent to most fairways. Good news is you can afford to spray your ball and still find it! Greens have a good amount of slope and undulation and roll nicely. The clubhouse has a great patio to sit out and have a drink and watch player come up 18 when you're done. 25 mins from PHX airport is convenient as well. February 16, 2013
Greens are everything here Not a real long course, and the fairways are generous for the most part. But the greens are tricky and well bunkered, with alot of slope, and are very fast if putting downhill. Make sure you leave the ball below the hole. February 14, 2013
this coarse has great features the coarse was in great condition ! the greens were rolling very very nicely.the best greens i have played in a long time. lots of sand bunkers which made shots a challenge. i really enjoyed the time spent on the coarse and would play it again. February 11, 2013
Good course, nice greens. good course with very nice greens. pace of play was a little slow, however February 8, 2013
Mesa area Unfortunate frost delay. Pace was very good. Bunkers maybe not as sandy as expected. Played well so loved it!!! February 6, 2013
Good course. Planes flying over are annoying on the first few holes. Good course. Planes flying over are annoying on the first few holes. Tee boxes are a bit beat up but otherwise the course is in good shape. Initial bag assistance staff is worthless. February 4, 2013
Better than average course I found the course enjoyable. I would play it again if I get back to Phoenix. February 3, 2013
Tees, greens and fareways were great! This course is very enjoyable to play, It has a mix of challenging holes and easy scoring holes. Placing your tee shots in the right place is very important on most holes. My buddy and I both agreed...we"ll be back!. February 1, 2013
This is a great desert course. We had a great time. It was a little chilly but the sun was shining and we had a lot of fun. Not so much out of the bunkers. January 31, 2013
Too much $ for the course Course is excellent. staff is very good.food is great.BUT you can play good quality courses in the area for better pricing. P.S your survey sliders don't work very well all ratings can only be adjusted to the max or min criteria you are asking for. January 25, 2013
Good desert course. Plenty of well placed sand traps. Fast greens. This is a good desert course setting. The greens were very fast, but true. I got the chance to play from several of the well placed bunkers, both fairway and greenside. Altogether a fun course. January 23, 2013
The course was in good shape. We were a 2-some, behind another 2-some, which was behind a 4-some. And there was another 2-some behind us. The pace was a 4-some pace, but not sure why they didn't pair up some of the 2-somes except that we were 2 women and most men don't want to play with women. We waited alot, but that was expected because it was a 4-some pace and we did finish under 4 hours. Saw a pair of bobcats on the par 3, hole #7! Cool! January 12, 2013
Great medim challenge desert course. Thoroughly enjoyable. This is a great medium challenge desert course. Generally flat with no significant elevation changes. Good condition with fast, true greens. This course will be a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all skill levels of golfer. January 10, 2013
Very interesting design.fair layout.good value I have played longbow on every trip down here. Course is very interesting ,but fair. Good conditions and very friendly staff. Pace of play was only issue ,although we were done in 4.5 hours.we were waiting on every tee shot and I know it got more overcrowded in the afternoon. Overall we were very pleased with our selection of longbow amongst the variety of courses we played. Definitely a come back course. January 10, 2013
Golf and an air show! Longbow's proximity to Falcon Field, one of the busiest general aviation field in the US, means that you are constantly being overflown by aircraft of all types - frequently restored WWII warbirds! The course itself is moderately challenging with wide fairways and large greens. There are several holes that require accurate tee shots and some challenging approach shots. The course is well maintained, the staff is friendly and competent, and the facilities are very nice. Longbow is a bit pricey and I would expect, at $140 rack rate, that range balls would be included (they are not). However at the 50% GolfNow discount, it is well worth playing. January 8, 2013
Course is in excellent shape. Greens were fast but soft enough to be aggressive on some holes. We saw some nice wildlife (2 bobcats) during our round. :) January 6, 2013
In very good condition Played this on a cold January morning and yes it gets cold in AZ. Morning temps were at 39. I've played this course many times in the past and this is the best it's been. The greens were nice and quick, but were hard as a rock. With a lob wedge from 90 yards out in the fairway using a ProV1, my ball hit the front of the green, took about a 8 foot bounce, and rolled about 25 feet. The fairways and tee boxes were in good shape also. January 6, 2013
very well kept coures. good weekly place to play. i really like the course and lay out. all the holes make sense. no surprises. good condition each time Ive played it in past 3 years. but the regular rates keep me from coming back regularly. January 2, 2013
Used every club in bag Challenging layout, but playable from tips by even novice golfer. December 27, 2012
Has potential The staff wasn't to friendly. Kinda felt a little lost as it was my first time there and the fella putting my golf bag on the cart quickly told us where things were as he was quickly walking away from us to do something else. Had I known from the beginning when I checked in that the greens were longer than my backyard grass I would've turned around and left. It absolutely ruined the day with greens like that. I understand that they over seed at some point in the year, but any of the other courses we played in the days prior, they had already competed it and made their first cut. Its not difficult to say, "just so you know, our greens are a 1 on the stint today so if you want to come back another day, that would be more enjoyable" Its unfortunate that this happened cuz I really don't remember much about the course. November 27, 2012
Course has great layout. The fairways were in great shape, greens were slow and did not hold. Need to fill out, Greens should be in great shape in two weeks. November 16, 2012
Nice desert style course. Pleasing to the eye with a nice variety of holes. Unfortunately when we played they had just overseeded and the greens were quite slow. Good pace of play. November 14, 2012
Great course, great service, but shaggy greens. Our 1st time at Longbow. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It is close to Falcon Field so you do get airplanes flying overhead. Desert style course with wide forgiving fairways. Most desert courses are very narrow so this was a nice change. The only complaint was the greens were left long and shaggy but I was told it was due to the overseeding. In another month they will be shaved and very fast. I will golf again my next time back to Phoenix. November 10, 2012
