Good Fairways were really good condition, even with the greens being aerated they weren't too terribly bad. The condition of the rest of the course made up for it. July 25, 2014
Nice Course This course is worth the drive. No notice of punched greens spoiled a good experience. We will try again. July 21, 2014
Great Value Great value on Hot Deal. Front nine had aerated greens which detracted from the overall enjoyment, but the back nine was fine. Staff very helpful and attentive. No ranger on the course and there was a twosome in front of me that was playing out of one set of clubs. Took them a lot of time to go to each ball and play. Also slow on the greens because they had to exchange putters. July 14, 2014
Fun course Course was in very good condition considering July. Most fairways give you some room off the tee for the non-pros. Generally very enjoyable and the bar is great. July 9, 2014
Great value if you can get a Hot Deal In fairness to the course, I played two days after a significant storm passed through the area so a lot of the issues with course conditions had to do with standing water. In general, though, the course was in nice shape and the greens rolled very true throughout the day. When I arrived, the pro shop advised that I could pretty much tee off whenever I wanted but the starter wanted to pair me up with three other players. After warming up, I decided to just head to the first tee and play as a single, which the starter ended up being okay with. In general, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I didn't see a food / beverage cart on the course the entire time, but the coolers were all full of cold water. Overall, a nice experience ... with a $10 Hot Deal, it'd be hard to justify not going back again. July 7, 2014
Nicely designed course My son and I played this course on July 4th, a day after a major monsoon storm dumped over an inch of rain on the course. The course handled it very well and only had a couple of standing water areas, but that would be expected. This course was really fun for me, it had its challenges; however was also very fair if you played your shots right. Greens rolled true and held approach shots pretty well. From the East valley, it's a bit of a drive; however I would recommend the drive as this is a nice change from all the desert courses we normally play. I liked that the course was not overloaded with bunkers. They were there, but you had options on each hole to avoid them or be challenged to hit over them. I will definitely go back. July 6, 2014
Napoleon Syndrome The course was in excellent shape & the day was amazing - sunny skies and a great day with friends. I typically arrange & book our weekly 4some but on this day I was able to book our tee time for 7 with an additional late comer for a total of 8 players. When we went to check-in, I informed the gentleman at the desk ("Napoleon") that we are now 8 and before I could apologize for the "inconvenience" of one additional player to our group - he said "well I guess I'll try and make arrangements for the single I was going to add to your group." Really! I have been the single on several occasions and with a group that large I would pass and wait for the next group to get out with! I think the statement was uncalled for not to mention we, on average traveled about 40 minutes to play. Ergo the reason the overall rating was only 4 star instead of 5. June 27, 2014
Very nice The course was in really good condition. It's a shame the other foothills golf group courses don't follow suit. The good conditions make the game more enjoyable. June 23, 2014
