Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 233 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value The course is in good condition. They have just started prepping for the annual course work. The greens are in good shape and smooth. I will have to play it again soon. September 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Driving Range The pro shop was not up to par, also the driving range was not kept up. The driving needs some big improvement and fast. September 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shape, great price The Duke is in really nice shape, in fact, we've played here the last three weekends. Fairways, greens, and tee boxes all nice. The only complaint is with some of the other golfers. Last weekend a twosome drove past us on the green to skip ahead to the next hole because they didn't want to wait (we were a threesome, and there were two slow foursomes in front of us). Very rude, and we let them know it, and then called the proshop who sent someone out to fix things (by then the rude twosome let us play through). Then this weekend we played behind a slow five-some. Again we were a three some, and they had no one in front, yet, they never let us play through. We tried to make contact, but they ignored us. The course is great - especially for the price - you just have to put up with some lack of etiquette. August 30, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Desert course I am a golfer that likes to arrive early at any golf course I play. When I arrived at the course the golf cart person brought out a cart to me which was great. Asked him what time will the pro shop be open so I can pay and get range balls. He did know what to say. My tee time was at 5:48am. 5:56am rolled around and no open pro shop. Cart person said if I didn't want to wait because he didn't know what time it will open that I can go ahead and start and come back after the ninth hole and pay. Other that not being able to pay and the biggest thing is not being able to hit some balls before starting. I really liked the course. Great course. Fairways and greens are some of the best I have seen this year in the desert. Very challenging holes. Maintenance people on course are very mindful of player and will stop while hitting your ball. Fix the non open pro shop and I would come back early. August 26, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the best Over the course was in great condition. However, we had a 6:04 tee time and arrives around 5:40 to warm up. One of our players need a hat and glove and the pro shop was locked. No range balls to warm up with so we walked out into the range and picked up what we could. Staff was overall very blah feeling and were not in touch of a hurry to help. Had to pay for our round at the turn cause when we tee'ed off they register was still closed. We were a group of 4 and there were at least 4 twosomes behind bus pushing and being rude the entire first 9 holes. This was the first time for a couple in my group and they were not very impressed. May or may not come back to The Duke. Jason Sinykin August 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Day of Golf.... Had a 5:32 am Tee Time, was able to get out when we arrived. Had a single behind us, but he didn't push us at all Barely say him all day and usually teeing off when we were leaving the green. The course was in great shape, not dry, well watered, not soggy and the greens were softer then I have seen in a while in AZ this summer. Balls actually left ball marks, nice to fix them for a change and be able to see the hit and final position. The sand traps have been horrible at most courses I have played this summer, Here they were very well maintained, my buddy complained they were wet, I disagreed because they were true, you could actually splash a shot without a thud from mud or hardpan and bounce into the ball. I thought the course is laid out very well, you're playing through housing, but none of them were in play from a bad shot. I have a bad slice at times, I think the closest I came to a back yard was maybe 20 yards and I was barely off the grass at that point. I really enjoyed the course and will definitely be back to play again! August 14, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bumpy green My score was 82. I made 10 bogies due to the bumpy green. The grass of the green was on and off due to poor maintenance. August 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great all around Facility, practice area, course and 19th hole Full practice area. the course is in good shape, greens just a little slow but true. Bunkers lacking sand. Played in 3 1/4 hrs. July 21, 2015
