Jack Nicklaus took advantage of the High Sonoran Desert setting to integrate strategy, variety and fair shot values into his Signature golf course at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. With his first Tucson golf course in 25 years, the famed Golden Bear designed 27 holes, each a par 36 that presents unique challenges and distinct character, blending naturally among noble saguaros that stand together along the surrounding Tortolita Mountain Range.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain's Saguaro/Tortolita course was unveiled to a global audience during the 2009 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. The top 64 players in the World Rankings return in February, when another week of exciting, head-to-head competition is anticipated on the same course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities.

Only 80 minutes south of Phoenix, the award-winning Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a dream destination. The elite desert venue, where elevation ranges from 2,300 to 3,000 feet, offers incredible views of the mountain ranges that surround the greater Tucson area. Golfers can reenact the shot-making of today’s legendary players, just as Nicklaus envisioned, and fine-tune their game at the comprehensive, 12-acre practice facility.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is also home to a 45,000 square foot clubhouse, offering full-service locker rooms and golf shop with a selection of premium merchandise and rental equipment. Inside, Cayton’s restaurant opens out to an elegant covered patio, the perfect setting to relax with a signature beverage, or just enjoy the vibrant Arizona sunset from beside the natural stone fireplace. Cayton’s is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and features American comfort cuisine with a Southwestern flare.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a place that embodies the authentic outdoor lifestyle of the High Sonoran Desert. Enjoy the enchanting, panoramic views and the rich visual history in this picturesque retreat, where adventure and a gracious spirit of hospitality come to life.

Excellent conditions tough greens but if you were in the right place they were fair What a fantastic day of golf . My wife and I got to play by ourselves. We played in just over 4 hours. April 16, 2014
3.5 hours of delight What a wonderful treat to experience 6742 yds. of golf with a 134 slope. Scoring truly was incidental to the delight of being on this pristine layout: unimaginable carpeted fairways, elevated greens whose undulation added to the true but already slick surface (numerous 3-putts). Only complaint (shock) was paying $5 for a glass of iced tea at lunch on the patio restaurant. April 16, 2014
Wonderful. Very difficult but one of the most enjoyable courses in Tucson area. Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. The greens may be the most difficult I have ever played. One of my favorites. April 14, 2014
good as it gets. Any course that hosts a tour event you expect will be a top notch course, Dove Mountain is that. Everything about it is great from the practice areas, club house, staff to the course itself. There is also the beautiful desert mountain surroundings which are as good as it gets. It is my favorite of the courses I have played. April 12, 2014
Dove Mountain Far and away the best course that I have ever played in my entire life....and I have played MANY 4* courses April 7, 2014
Nice course The course was very nice and in very good condition. Unfortunately we followed 4 walkers and the round was slow. We were a 3-some and they never offered to let us play through. The greens are in great shape, but have a lot of movement. The course is a bit long for higher and older handicappers. We had a real good time! April 7, 2014
April 1, 2014
Falls off fast Course is still in good shape but nowhere close to Accenture shape. Considering tournament was just a month ago looks like the course needs water ! March 31, 2014
