Jack Nicklaus took advantage of the High Sonoran Desert setting to integrate strategy, variety and fair shot values into his Signature golf course at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. With his first Tucson golf course in 25 years, the famed Golden Bear designed 27 holes, each a par 36 that presents unique challenges and distinct character, blending naturally among noble saguaros that stand together along the surrounding Tortolita Mountain Range.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain's Saguaro/Tortolita course was unveiled to a global audience during the 2009 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. The top 64 players in the World Rankings return in February, when another week of exciting, head-to-head competition is anticipated on the same course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities.

Only 80 minutes south of Phoenix, the award-winning Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a dream destination. The elite desert venue, where elevation ranges from 2,300 to 3,000 feet, offers incredible views of the mountain ranges that surround the greater Tucson area. Golfers can reenact the shot-making of today’s legendary players, just as Nicklaus envisioned, and fine-tune their game at the comprehensive, 12-acre practice facility.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is also home to a 45,000 square foot clubhouse, offering full-service locker rooms and golf shop with a selection of premium merchandise and rental equipment. Inside, Cayton’s restaurant opens out to an elegant covered patio, the perfect setting to relax with a signature beverage, or just enjoy the vibrant Arizona sunset from beside the natural stone fireplace. Cayton’s is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and features American comfort cuisine with a Southwestern flare.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a place that embodies the authentic outdoor lifestyle of the High Sonoran Desert. Enjoy the enchanting, panoramic views and the rich visual history in this picturesque retreat, where adventure and a gracious spirit of hospitality come to life.

Strategy Beautiful course. Fairways were a little rough on one course. Tortolita has a wash on most holes. Either long carries or lay ups. Difficult if you are not familliar with the course. Wild Burro was more friendly, but not in as good of shape. July 23, 2014
in bad conditions. Fairway where in rough conditions, if iwas told that I would have not played. For 55.00 I rate it as bad as a city course, city course r in better conditon. July 21, 2014
Must play in Tucson Really special course. Course is tough but not unfair. Lots of tee boxes makes it easier to play for all. Very scenic. Only compliant was the Tortolina course was a little in need of maintenance. Probably related to the heat. Some fairways were struggling a bit. July 21, 2014
Alone on Dove Mountain I had a spectacular round of golf! I had the entire course to myself. What a beautiful course. I played from the copper tees and had all I could handle. The greens are great and very challenging. This course should be on every golfers bucket list! July 16, 2014
Mediocre First nine had just been aerated and there was no mention of it. Back nine was nice July 14, 2014
Very challenging Great layout with very difficult holes. Lots of moderate carries over desert areas. Greens have a lot of contours. Don't try to play from the back tees or you will be out there all day. July 14, 2014
Great facility Staff was excellent. Course/views/conditions top notch. Highly recommend it. Bring a will be at the beach a lot. Thanks for the bunkers Jack!! July 12, 2014
Like Burnt Fairways ? The Greens are in good condition but the fairways need to be brought up to standard. The fairways are burnt out in many areas and some bare spots will cause you to look for a grassy area to hit from when your ball is right down the middle. July 12, 2014
