Jack Nicklaus took advantage of the High Sonoran Desert setting to integrate strategy, variety and fair shot values into his Signature golf course at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. With his first Tucson golf course in 25 years, the famed Golden Bear designed 27 holes, each a par 36 that presents unique challenges and distinct character, blending naturally among noble saguaros that stand together along the surrounding Tortolita Mountain Range.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain's Saguaro/Tortolita course was unveiled to a global audience during the 2009 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship. The top 64 players in the World Rankings return in February, when another week of exciting, head-to-head competition is anticipated on the same course that can be enjoyed by golfers of all ages and abilities.

Only 80 minutes south of Phoenix, the award-winning Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a dream destination. The elite desert venue, where elevation ranges from 2,300 to 3,000 feet, offers incredible views of the mountain ranges that surround the greater Tucson area. Golfers can reenact the shot-making of today’s legendary players, just as Nicklaus envisioned, and fine-tune their game at the comprehensive, 12-acre practice facility.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is also home to a 45,000 square foot clubhouse, offering full-service locker rooms and golf shop with a selection of premium merchandise and rental equipment. Inside, Cayton’s restaurant opens out to an elegant covered patio, the perfect setting to relax with a signature beverage, or just enjoy the vibrant Arizona sunset from beside the natural stone fireplace. Cayton’s is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and features American comfort cuisine with a Southwestern flare.

The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a place that embodies the authentic outdoor lifestyle of the High Sonoran Desert. Enjoy the enchanting, panoramic views and the rich visual history in this picturesque retreat, where adventure and a gracious spirit of hospitality come to life.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 480 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unbelieveably beautiful course Played in the Arizona drizzle on this fantastic course. Even though they were nearing shutdown for overseed, the course was in great condition. Greens undulate a lot and you are always hitting towards an uphill or downhill target plus desert and barrancas. Some wide fairways, some narrow with ugly, ugly rough. Stunning views of mountains and the Tucson valley. October 2, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic day of golf For end if season it was in good condition. The greens were browning out but still allowed putting that was true. October 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Resort course but not easy Difficult but fair course. Accuracy, as in most courses, pays off. Don't wander too far in the "rough" or you may come home with more than you paid for, lots of cactus and wildlife! September 28, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Slow pace of play, cart path only without any previous notification. Not fun at 100 degrees. It would have improved our experience if we were told the first 9 holes were cart path only. After walking about 20-40 yards to/from each hit in almost 100 degree weather, we were all beat after the first 9 holes. Will never play here again. September 27, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Repeat Player Course was in good shape, but we were disappointed to find out the Wild Burro was cart path only and were not told about it in advance. September 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Views. Excellent golf course. You have to try this course at least once in your stay. September 24, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by not worth the money played the golf course today, first had to wait for range balls to warm up,started nice about it,BUT REALLY,for the reputation and the money unacceptable, course was in ok shape getting ready for over seeding, one nine closed patchy spots in fairway and the rough, but not real bad, greens in good shape, lots of ball marks not fixed, cart girl must have gotten lost only saw her twice in 18 holes and one time did not have enough ice for us,brinatty at the turn/grill house not nice at all, when asked about the $12.00 combo lunch said turkey wrap or tuna sandwich, asked if a turkey sandwich could be made,advised/told no way and was rude about it,WILL NOT GO BACK TO PLAY THE OTHER NINE AFTER THIS...
