The Red Course was created by Robert "Red" Lawrence, the famed golf course architect responsible for Arizona's first desert golf course. Red is also credited with being involved with the designs of the Merion, Homestead, Westchester, and Desert Forest Golf Clubs. To this day, his work at The Wigwam perfectly complements Jones' Gold and Blue courses. With a length between its two siblings and par 72, The Red plays alongside streams and ponds set among a forest of pines, cypress and eucalyptus trees. From the back tees, the final 3 holes will make you feel like a hero or make you call your pro for a lesson the next day!

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great course, No yardage markers. Quick Greens I'll start off with the minimal negatives. First off, the address I got off of GolfNow got me close but not directly to the clubhouse. Once I was able to locate the clubhouse, drop off my bags, and drive back across the street and park, I was welcomed by employees in the pro shop who were helpful and informational. You get unlimited range balls when you play a round. The first hole of Heritage is about a 5 min cart ride from the pro shop. They have alot of construction going on. There's no yardage markers on the course, so make sure you have some sort of GPS. The greens run quick. November 20, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great condition!!! Course in GREAT condition; however, the PACE OF PLAY was TERRIBLE!!! November 14, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by sand traps such a nice course but a shame the traps are not taken care of, like hitting very hard dirt November 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great course, slow round Great facilities but pace of play can be challenging. November 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by still construction everywhere The Red Course (Heritage) is completely different from the blue and gold. They are working on the snack shack, putting green, cart paths, and sidewalk. The layout is fun and difficult at times, but way over priced. November 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Heratige Course Course was in decent shape, greens were fast and true. Heritage is a five minute cart ride from Main Wigwam clubhouse. Pace of play was bad and no ranger attempted to speed up group in front of us. In general I thought the layout was good, one exception is the 17th hole, a 254 yd par 3 from the back tees, which is a joke for 90% of those playing the back tees. November 8, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Golf Course was in very nice condition. The weather was great it was a great day to play. November 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Shape after Overseeding This course is in excellent shape, greens are rolling as if they were not overseeded....rolling great. November 5, 2015
