The perfect Arizona Golf course, Torres Blancas Golf Club, is nestled in the Santa Cruz River Valley at the foot of the beautiful Santa Rita Mountains. An Arizona golf vacation at Torres Blancas offers a championship course designed by Lee Trevino, Ocampo and Fernandez. Torres Blancas meanders through charming neighborhoods and breathtaking desert scenery.

The par 72 course comes with 3 lakes, numerous sand traps and generous, undulating greens. Four sets of tees offer a challenge to golfers of all abilities with a maximum yardage of 6997 from the tournament tees and 5200 yards from the forward tees.

Green Valley AZ is located south of Tucson, at an elevation of just under 3,000 feet. This makes our climate much cooler than Phoenix (Phoenix is called the "Valley of the Sun" for good reason) and even cooler than neighboring Tucson, just to the north. The beautiful Santa Rita Mountains and Elephant Head offer a dramatic backdrop to the beauty of Torres Blancas. Mt. Wrightson, our highest mountain at over 9,450 feet is often crowned with snow during the winter. However, our winter climate is ideal on the course, with daytime temperatures into the 70`s, 80`s, and even an occasional 90.

A work in progress New management has taken over this course and are making a lot of changes. They have narrowed the fairways and reshaped the greens. The rough has become extremely punitive. The mowing in both the rough and the fairways was inconsistent. They close for overseeding on 10-01. Employees have been told that the course issues will be taken care of by the time the course reopens. September 29, 2014
Torres is a good course! Cutting narrow snakelike fairways out of very generous fairways and leaving deep rough adjacent did not render an enjoyable experience. September 28, 2014
course condition Torres Blancas golf course was very nice to play. My main concern though is if you rolled off the fairway you stood a chance of losing you ball! The grass was WAY to TALL for first cut from the fairway. There wasn't even a second cut as everything was 3" or better. I'm not a professional so I like to enjoy my game and that doesn't include HUNTING for my ball if it ran off the fairway, especially from a drive. Otherwise I enjoyed the course. September 25, 2014
Good course to play A lot of good hole. need all your clubs , enjoyable to play. September 22, 2014
Not Bad for recent weather The rough was really thick. I lost several balls by hitting just of the fairway in the rough. I am guessing they will cut it down soon. The weather in AZ has been wet. This is usually not an issue at this golf course. Staff was friendly and helpful. II lost a club on the front nine and the staff called me when they found it and I picked it up. September 21, 2014
Play moved right along Fun & challenging course. We were ably to set a good pace of play. Some rough was a little heavy. September 19, 2014
Good course Course was wet from morning rain. Don't ask me to review another course September 17, 2014
Summer Problems This is one of the three remaining courses that were part of a four course ownership by a group that had no business owning golf courses.. all four of the courses suffered terribly due to lack of money with this group. One of the courses, was totally lost due to poor maintenance and no proper ownership. This one, Torres Blancas is still playable but in mid September it is almost ridiculous to attempt it. The rough is so bad you can easily go through a dozen balls because of the deep deep grass they refused to mow. Greens are barely puttable ! Good luck but don't say you didn't know better!
