Torres Blancas Golf Club
Greens excellent shape. Grass is tall along edges of fairways, very easy to lose golf balls

We used to make the drive down from Tucson to Green Valley all the time, especially during the summer months (Green Valley is typically a few degrees cooler than Tucson). So I was really excited to come play Torres Blancas again after not having played there for a couple of years.
The pace of play was slow, but not the primary reason for the low rating here. The course is currently infested by mosquitoes. Aside from being just completely annoying, this is a health hazard for a place that sees dozens of people go through within a few hours. It was so bad that we had to abandon our 18 hole round midway through.
Please have Pima County come out and spray the course, and cut down on the weeds/tall grass that are literally a breeding ground for the bugs.

great afternoon golf
no one was playing - so I played alone. No waiting, round was under 3 hours.

not being maintained
Greens, fairways and tees unmowed made playing difficult

Course was in ok condition, cost to play 10 dollars, if you don't like mosquitos don't play as they ate me up.

The course was in much better shape than I was expecting especially the greens. The lady bartender was very cautious and friendly. Looking forward to playing there again.
