The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail@ Hampton Cove - Highlands Course
The Highlands Course, which emulates a Scottish Links, is one of the gems of the Trail. Thousands of Japanese black pines, oaks, dogwoods, and crepe myrtles have been planted to enhance such features as an old mule barn beside the fifth hole.
The 18-hole "Highlands" course at the The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Hampton Cove facility in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama features 6,649 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.1 and it has a slope rating of 124. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, ASGCA, the Highlands golf course opened in 1992.
